the saints aren't as good as everyone is making them out to be. on paper they have lost 3 games. remember mcnabb was hurt. kolb had a big day but he also threw 3 interceptions and went 1-5 in the red zone. with mcnabb at qb the eagles score 2 more red zone td's and 2 less interceptions. if miami stays within their gameplan in the second half the saints lose that one. the jets beat the saints on paper but 4 interceptions and 1-4 in the red zone was the difference

I agree that a 1/2 game suspension for Spikes is a little light, it was an act of malicious intent to harm another player. However, there is no evidence that Spikes even got through to his face and touched the man. Afterall, the RB didn't jump up and complain or leave the field with discomfort.
