Richard....how can you say Coughlin made the right decision by not going for a TD when they're in the red zone with less than 3 minutes to go? A TD would have cemented the game versus a FG. Being that close, a FG is a gimmy in most cases. The Giants should have at least taken shots at the end zone in 2nd and 3rd down.

In the end, wins and losses get you the big bowl games. The BCS doesn't much care who you beat to get those wins.

Final game rematches aren't as ridiculous as they seem...Michigan and Ohio State should have played again in 2006...they have/had no control over the timing of the game and that's essentially what did that rematch in...same thing will happen with Florida and Bama, which isn't right, because if those teams played in week 1 or 2, people have a lot easier time putting them into the title game, than if its week 13-15. Timing of loss/game has too much bearing.

Johnson't lucky cause NASCAR hasn't changed the chase tracks. When they keep the same tracks and allowing the teams to bring near similar setups year after year, its not as difficult.
