Paul Kuharsky (3:00 PM)
Hi folks. Thanks for coming, good to see you.
Kevin Costner (hollywood)
OK, I'm here early. I'd like a seat in the middle of the place because Kevin Costner is a man of the people.
Paul Kuharsky (3:00 PM)
Especially if the people live in an Iowa cornfield.
Dustin (Stanford CA)
What do you think of the development of William Hayes and Jason Jones? Think people are still jeering Hayes as a 4th round pick?
Paul Kuharsky (3:01 PM)
He's been good. I didn't hear too much jeering. They hit smalls schools hard in that draft, no?
Dustin (Stanford CA)
Can Chris Johnson rush for 2000 yrds this season?
Paul Kuharsky (3:01 PM)
He can, but probably needs a huge day against the Bills for it to happen.
Sean (Arlington, VA)
For my Fantasy Songwriter League, should I start Scott Miller, Pete Yorn or Rhett Miller?
Paul Kuharsky (3:01 PM)
Tough, tough call. I'd lead with Yorn. Production of last Rhett CD very disappointing.
David (Jacksonville, Florida)
With only 5 picks in next years draft will the Jags use one of those picks to select a QB ? It is a deep draft for QB's next year and the Jags need to develop a young QB. Thanks Paul
Paul Kuharsky (3:02 PM)
Wrote yesterday I am willing to see what Garrard does in final eight before judging. But yeah, I suspect they'll be in need of at least a developmental QB.
Health Inspector (Indianapolis)
Paul, keep this chat clean of mice or I'm going to have to cite you.
Paul Kuharsky (3:03 PM)
Taken under advisement. The food at LOS was bad before the mice revelations, so I haven't eaten there hardly at all except for press box fruit and cake.
Frank (CA)
You don't have any hair.
Paul Kuharsky (3:04 PM)
Your powers of observation are truly extraordinary.
harish (Fargo Nd)
Paul,With high powered offenses to face in the next 3 weeks, why dont the colts get some help in the secondary. Sure they signed anthony madison, but it seems more for Special teams.
Paul Kuharsky (3:05 PM)
Who is the great help sitting out there awaiting a phone call? For a team minus two key corners, they are about as good as can be. Titans lost two corners and you saw what happened to them.
Mice (Indianapolis)
Apparently we're no longer welcome at Lucas Oil. Do you have any recommendations for new digs?
Paul Kuharsky (3:06 PM)
Convention center? Meet the visitors?
Cory (AF, UT)
I understand Houston fans displeasure with the fumble/ non-fumble call. But do they not understand that you can not just change one play and expect everything else in the game to remain the same? Yes, it could have changed the game, with them getting at least some points 95% of the time, but it does not guarantee it.
Paul Kuharsky (3:07 PM)
You're correct. Another big misunderstanding is what was challenged. That it wasn't called a fumble was challenged, the other stuff branched out of that. But the call on the field wasn't that it hit a player who was out of bounds. It was that the ball was not out. The evidence to the contrary was irrefutable.
CJ (Duval)
Do you think the Jags will stick with the 4-3? It just seems so natural for them. And how can Reggie Nelson turn his season around? It seems like he is never in the right place?
Paul Kuharsky (3:08 PM)
I think they should and will stick with the 4-3. And Nelson seems lost.
Rob (Orange Park, FL)
It's pretty well acknowledged now that Gene Smith did a great job with his 1st draft as a GM. Nobody is questioning the Terrence Knighton & Derek Cox picks now. How would you rate his overall performance as a whole?
Paul Kuharsky (3:08 PM)
I think very solid, mostly based on that draft and the purging. One more year of moves and I expect a good team in 2010.
Frone (Murfreesboro, TN)
How likely is it that Fisher will simply give Harper the starting CB spot over Hood? If he does, how bad and for how long would Harper have to play at a sub-Hood level to call for the switch?
Paul Kuharsky (3:09 PM)
I think it's pretty likely. It's the way Fisher works. He'd have to play badly, then they'd give him a tweaked hamstring or some such to ease him out. That they didn't sign Hood earlier appears almost criminal.
Peyton Manning (Indianapolis)
Since when does Costner get to decide where he sits? I thought we were friends. We haven't been communicating well and I feel left in the dark.
Paul Kuharsky (3:10 PM)
It's on Caldwell's seating chart too...
BillyH (Nashville)
Thoughts on CJ's chances for a big game on Sunday against the Bills?
Paul Kuharsky (3:10 PM)
Giant chance for a giant day.
Justin Gage (Titan's Practice)
Hey, I just love the article you did on me? But didn't you forget to ask me how I suddenly learned how to catch the ball, now that VY is at qb?
Paul Kuharsky (3:10 PM)
Asked. And asked Dinger on the radio this morning. No one can answer.
Conner (Chicago)
Paul, What do you make of the Colts struggle with getting in the endzone the past 2 weeks and having to settle for field goals? Is it just coincidental that Donald Brown has benn out those 2 games?
Paul Kuharsky (3:11 PM)
He'd certainly help, but hasn't Addai done his best work near the goal line?
CJ (Duval)
Do you think Groves and Harvey are busts or are the Jags just not developing right?
Paul Kuharsky (3:12 PM)
Too early to say. But they moved up too far to get Harvey considering what he can and can't do. And Groves has done nothing with consistency.
CJ (Michigan)
Hey Paul, what are the chances LJ lands in Houston?
Paul Kuharsky (3:13 PM)
We need you reading the blog, CJ. GM Rick Smith said earlier this week they'd considered LJ and decided against it.
Stuart (Virginia)
Do you see the Titans resigning LenDale after this season, or you think Ringer will fill as a nice complementary back up to CJ
Paul Kuharsky (3:13 PM)
I don't see them re-signing if he gets any kind of good offer. But he's only restricted if there is no new CBA, so they'd control his fate.
Don (Killen, AL)
Any prediction on the colts - pats game? The rookie corners have been good, but moss and welker are coming. I say manning has a strong day and freeney/mathis/brackett get some pressure on brady. Final score colts 31 - pats 24
Paul Kuharsky (3:14 PM)
Nope. I don't predict games. Helps me analyze/ report/ write better if I am not rooting for a result that will make me look smart.
Charles (CA)
Hey how are ya? What do you think Matt Schuabs chances are of making it to the Pro Bowl over some of the other top choices like Big Ben, Tom Brady, Carson Palmer and many other great QBs in the AFC?
Paul Kuharsky (3:15 PM)
Will be hard considering the competition. Until some of that competition that goes far in the playoffs starts dropping out of an unattractive scenario in Miami. And Super Bowl QB won't be able to go. Then he probably goes.
Joseph (VA)
PK, it seems Caldwell hasn't been in many talks for Coach of the Year. Why is that? He is moving up the list of best starts for a rookie coach and has dealt with a lot of injuries.
Paul Kuharsky (3:16 PM)
Inherited a very good team with a great QB. Coach of the Year goes to a turnaround guy, like McDaniels.
Rob (Jacksonville)
Hope you're having a great day, Paul. It is always a positive when your team finishes the season on a high note. Doing so seems in most cases to mean your players are developing and maturing. With a team as young as the Jaguars who've managed a 4-4 record through the first half of the season, would anything less than 4-4 to finish the season be deemed disappointing? If so, do you feel that a disappointing season can hamper development of players, or can they continue to improve even when the on-field results turn out poorly?
Paul Kuharsky (3:17 PM)
Even with less than stellar finish, players can continue to improve. And sometimes that disappointment even fuels a harder working offseason. But yes, less than 8-8 is a disappointment now.
Awayne (INDY)
Bigger reason Larry Johnson goes unsigned, his loss of productivity or his years of being a pain in the rear of his coaches and teammates?
Paul Kuharsky (3:18 PM)
Combo platter.
Mike Sims-Walker (Duval)
How you like me now? I know we got some great wideouts in our division, but how would you rank me?
Paul Kuharsky (3:19 PM)
Off the top of my head, talking strictly wide receivers, I'd say you're third behind Andre Johnson and Reggie Wayne.
Rob (Jacksonville)
I also have a question about your Garrard article. You say that you're not sure how much the Jaguars should emphasize getting a QB in the draft at this point. Let's say Garrard has the same stats in the last 8 games as Drew Brees has had in the first 8. Wouldn't you want to invest in a QB high in the draft regardless? David Garrard is 31 and the Jaguars have not drafted a QB in 5 years.
Paul Kuharsky (3:20 PM)
If he was Drew Brees the next eight games, no. They have only five picks I think, still a lot of needs. And we're talking QB not RB, so 31 isn't old.
Charles (Goodlettsville)
Gerald McGrath looks like the real deal at linebacker for the Titans. Jim Wyatt for the Tennessean even went as far to say that he thinks McGrath will get in the lineup before the season is over. You see that happening?
Paul Kuharsky (3:20 PM)
If Thornton stays hurt.
Eric Giobert (Norfolk, VA)
Hey Paul! If thew Titans manage to win out do you think they have a legit shot at the playoffs? Also if they iss them does it signal Fishers last year?
Paul Kuharsky (3:23 PM)
I don't think they can win out. I cannot believe how many people have gone from absolutely miserable about 0-6 to concluding that wins over Jax and at SF mean they can finish 10-6.
Brady (Colorado)
I heard someone say that the Chiefs will be good next year. As a chiefs fan i find this absolutely insane. What are your thoughts about not only the chiefs, but other teams that are "rebuilding" as well (bucs, lions, seemingly the jags)
Paul Kuharsky (3:24 PM)
Jags are well ahead of Chiefs, Bucs and Lions. Some of the league's bad teams -- KC, TB, Detroit, St. Louis -- appear to need a good bit of time to turn around. But someone always does it faster than expected.
Steve (Memphis)
Let's say the Titans start Nick Harper the rest of the way once he's healthy. His contract is up after this year. Do they resign him and resign Rod Hood or just resign Rod Hood and bring him back as a starter?
Paul Kuharsky (3:26 PM)
They won't re-sign Harper. But two good games are enough for Hood to earn a long-term deal?
David Hall (Tuscaloosa, AL)
Dear Wayne Weaver, please do not draft Tim Tebow
Paul Kuharsky (3:26 PM)
Giving you some volume.
Mike (Nash)
One thing I noticed about next year if there is no CBA, a team could only sign free agents if they lost them, is that correct? Wouldn't the Titans be in very good shape since it seems they have a very large number of free agents this year? ie; Kearse, KVB, Bulluck, Brown, Harper, Amano, Crumpler and Mawae.
Paul Kuharsky (3:27 PM)
A good team. The top eight teams, I believe, can only add FAs if they lose FAs. Will be a factor in who can't sign Titans away, not in Titans ability to sign people from outside.
Steve (Virginia)
I, as well as many other people, see a youth movement on the way for Tennessee...but I see VY and CJ being the leaders of great teams in the future for a long time. I think Vince is realizing what needs to be done and he's only played two games with CJ, which has to be mind boggling for opposing coaches, having that much speed on the ball at all times
Paul Kuharsky (3:28 PM)
Like with Hood, two good games are not enough to declare VY the answer.
Jeff (NC)
Do you expect more out of Garcon or Collie this week?
Paul Kuharsky (3:28 PM)
Collie.
Razel (Texas)
Hey Paul you also said vince was a bust but he's proving that he did learn, so do us a favor and learn from some of your mistakes, don't be bitter because you called them superbowl contenders and they sputtered a bit. So when the titans go 10-6 I want a picture of you with your dog in a vince young jersey
Paul Kuharsky (3:29 PM)
Sputtered a bit? Yeah 0-6 is a tiny setback for a team with Super Bowl expectations. Are you serious?
Jeff (NC)
Freeney and Mathis are some of the best bookends in the game right now. What chance do you see of them getting pressure on Brady and Freeney continuing his streak of consecutive games with a sack?
Paul Kuharsky (3:29 PM)
I wouldn't bet against him right now.
Zac (TN)
When do we have 2 years in a row without the Colts being division champs?
Paul Kuharsky (3:30 PM)
Probably after Peyton or Polian retire.
Jeff Fisher (Nashville)
You've been awful hard on me lately about being stubborn and some poor decisions, but a lot of folks on comment boards and chat rooms have called you a Tennessee homer. Seems like people are having their cake and eating it too.
Paul Kuharsky (3:30 PM)
I appreciate you pointing that out, Jeff.
Anthony Gonzalez (Indianapolis, IN)
Any chance I play next week at Baltimore? Surely I can get back for the game @ Houston? Everyone was stoked on the rookies at the start, but I think it is obvious I could have made a difference for the offense in the last two games... Garcon has really dropped off in performance and made a lot of mistakes after a couple of great games early on. How do you see the line up when I return? I am thinking me and Reggie on the outside, Collie in the slot. Garcon in for certain plays, and Kick returns???
Paul Kuharsky (3:31 PM)
I think you're right on the lineup, except for Garcon on special teams. But there is no telling when you will be back.
Sebastian (Tallahassee, FL)
(Colts fan) Dear Wayne Weaver, Please waste a draft pick on Tim Tebow.
Paul Kuharsky (3:31 PM)
Equal time.
Frank (Pell Lake, WI)
You commented on how people are picking 10-6 for the Titans. The Texans have been the chic pick to make the playoffs for about 3 years now. In a big game against the Colts they had over 100 yards in penalties. The only team of note that they have beaten this season have been the Bengals. Any comments on why people are optimistic about the Texans and can't be about the Titans?
Paul Kuharsky (3:32 PM)
The Texans have won five games, including one over the Titans. The Titans have lost six games, including one against the Texans.
Vince Young (Nashville)
Last week you said i worked from the outside in .... You have also said i had a weak arm ... You also said i play Kyle Boller style "like my hair is on fire" would you like to retract all of these statements.... I still want to be traded because you hate me! So does Wyatt Climer Boclair
Paul Kuharsky (3:33 PM)
Didn't say the Boller thing. And while I know you think two games = a big career, I don't. Larger sample size, please.
Don (Killen, AL)
The pats defense doesn't scare me as they had in the past when they had seymour, harrison, law, vrabel, bruschi. I know they are still good, but statistically they haven't been great against the run and they don't have alot of sacks. Are these stats misleading?
Paul Kuharsky (3:34 PM)
I don't think they are as scary either. But still a lot of talent, well coached.
Stuart (Virginia)
Do you think we'll see more option play from the Titans, it never seems to work in the NFL, but a speed option the open side of the field seems almost unstoppable with those two running it. Thoughts?
Paul Kuharsky (3:35 PM)
I don't know about all out option. Maybe for a handful of plays. But they are liking pitches to CJ.
Floyd Reese (Massachusetts)
What did I ever do? Why did I get fired honest?
Paul Kuharsky (3:36 PM)
Mostly because you put the team in salary cap hell where things had to be blown up. You said such a day of reckoning would arrive for all good teams, but no one else has had to do it yet.
On the Verge of Quitting my Job (Work)
Hey Paul,My boss just told me that if he catches me on Espn again, he will "write me up". He says im not being productive. Is this not productive?? I sure think it is.
Paul Kuharsky (3:37 PM)
Once I sign off, you go tell him what's what.
Gil (Jacksonville, FL)
Do you think the Jags will try to stretch the field sideways with Mike Thomas on Sunday? Or are the Jets' linebackers too quick and too good for that to be efficient?
Paul Kuharsky (3:37 PM)
I think they should try it a little if only to keep the Jets honest.
Chris Johnson (da 'Ville)
I'm Homeless & I'm standin in da street!!What'cha think of my Twitter catch-phrases?!?!
Paul Kuharsky (3:38 PM)
I've always wanted to mention it to you: If you have no home, step away from Twitter and go for a ride with a realtor!
Awayne (INDY)
A large number of people are wanting the Colts to cut ties with injury prone Bob Sanders because of his large contract, but because he is so early in that contract with a bunch of the money was up front his base salary for next year is relatively small. And after this latest surgery he will have been able to let the knee heal completely.Yes at some point he probably will get hurt next year but isn't the risk worth the reward? Is there really any upside in cutting him?
Paul Kuharsky (3:40 PM)
I need to look at the contract, but I think he's got some additional money coming due. If, in fact, he's not real expensive on next year's books, I tend to agree with the idea of keeping him with the hope of having him for key games/playoffs. He's not got trade value based on the injury issues, so it's keep or release.
Dave (Canada)
Will you be sitting with Tim Graham during the Colts/ Patriots game?
Paul Kuharsky (3:40 PM)
Yes. And he has promised to wear his best wizard costume for the occasion!
Guy (Round Rock, TX)
How does Owen Daniels injury affect his contract negotiations? Why don't the Texans pay that guy? I mean come on - $9 mil / 3 years for your 3rd string QB. Please.
Paul Kuharsky (3:41 PM)
If there is no CBA, he's not even unrestricted after this season. You wouldn't wait to see how rehab from knee construction goes?
Derek Cox (J-Ville)
In 2010 i will be in Darelle Revis, Asomugha level
Paul Kuharsky (3:42 PM)
Confidence is good. Performing even a notch below that would be too.
Charles (Goodlettsville)
PK, where is Ed Hochuli today? I saw that he was on his way in, but some random Texans fan was yelling at him to "call it both ways!!" He started to get upset and then he left.
Paul Kuharsky (3:43 PM)
He's here.
Ed Hochuli (Chat Ref)
After reviewing Vince Young's post, it has been determined that 2 games isn't a large enough sample size. The result is an incomplete post. The rest of the chatters will not be charged with a time out, and it remains 1st down.
Paul Kuharsky (3:43 PM)
Evidence.
Awayne (INDY)
Mr.Lacey and Mr Powers welcome to the NFL,Andre Johnson last week and Randy Moss and Wes Welker this week.If these two come out of this week doing a decenent job should Indy be pretty pleased with the future of the CB position?
Paul Kuharsky (3:44 PM)
Already should be. They've done great. Powers is absolutely a player.
Dave (Canada)
If CJ gets 2,000 yards (1,828.8 meters) do you think he'll deserve a new contract? I'm sure he'll ask for one.
Paul Kuharsky (3:44 PM)
Like the conversion. Redo for third year unlikely, I think. But not impossible if they can get him to stretch it out.
James (Franklin, IN)
Despite Polian's statements to the contrary, Tim Jennings is clearly the weak link in the secondary. Wouldn't it be wise of Belichick to go with a three-wide package to force a mismatch with Jennings and whomever lines up across from him? BB has to like that match-up for any of his WR's.
Paul Kuharsky (3:45 PM)
Sounds good. Except then you are pretty much counting on your tackles to handle Freeney and Mathis. Are you sure they can?
Joseph Addai (Colts Practice)
Why is everyone bagging on me and the running game lately? Didnt I score the game winning TD's in both of our last games? Maybe it has something to do with the O-Line as well not just me.
Paul Kuharsky (3:46 PM)
I've said repeatedly that I think the run-game issues are more line and less backs.
Finley (Back yard)
Are you wearing the VY jersey or not when the Titans go 10-6?
Paul Kuharsky (3:46 PM)
Sure. And you'll dress as a squirrel.
Nick (Columbus, IN)
It is a fact that it will be a big challenge for the Powers or Lacey to try to guard Randy Moss, but no one is talking about their young CB's having to guard Reggie Wayne. Why is that not a major mismatch as well? Wayne is having a better season statically but people won't recognize him as the same "threat" as Moss.
Paul Kuharsky (3:50 PM)
It would seem Bodden (seventh year) or Springs (13th) would be covering Wayne.
Matt (West Lafayette, IN)
Hey Paul, it seems like an issue that is never talked about until it costs the Colts a big game, but do you ever see them doing a major overhaul on special teams. It seems like after the playoff loss in Sandiego last year should've been a wake up call, but again this season it seems like a miracle if our return guys make it past the 30 yard line.
Paul Kuharsky (3:50 PM)
Coverage is much better this year with a new coach. It's a start.
Tom Brady (Tim Graham's house)
How badly are the Colts going to beat me? I can just see Freeney and Mathis coming off the corners now...
Paul Kuharsky (3:51 PM)
How are you at Graham's, but Manning is never over here?
Brian (Richmond, VA)
As a lifetime Colts fan... can me and you sit down and come up with a time machine that rewinds time and keeps Peyton Manning at 32 his entire career? I have a feeling not only when Peyton retires, Polian follows right behind... and we are back to flying paper airplanes at Indy games and feeling like it is a success to lose by only single digits! Make my football fan future brighter PK!
Paul Kuharsky (3:52 PM)
Enjoy them while you have them. Savor.
Nick (Columbus, IN)
Drink/Food tip for Indy: Found a new pub in downtown indy, over in the mass ave district. It's called Chatham Tap. They have great beer selection, good pub food, and they show all of the "futbol" games from Europe there, and I here you are a fan. Check it out.
Paul Kuharsky (3:52 PM)
Very short stay this time. Next time I'll try.
Awayne (INDY)
With the lack of a CBA will teams be slow to re-negotiate or extend contracts after this year and would it be smart for players to maybe wait to see if there is a rookie salary structure that will free up more money for vets?
Paul Kuharsky (3:53 PM)
There can't be a new rookie structure until there is a new CBA.
Simon Kuharsky (Nashville)
Oooh, can I get a Pacman Jones jersey? He's my favorite and I hear they're 75% off.
Paul Kuharsky (3:54 PM)
Cute and funny.
Matt (Baltimore)
If I ask a question, will your answer be "no"?
Paul Kuharsky (3:54 PM)
No. I mean probably not.
Tony (Austin)
With the depth the Titans went in with at RB and Tight End, was it a mistake not to seek a trade for a CB or WR. I think given the status of the Cardinal's/Boldin relationship a Lendale White for AB trade could have improved both teams. Not gonna happen now though.
Paul Kuharsky (3:55 PM)
I don't understand why you think the Cards would think that's a good trade. You don't get to just draw up a lopsided trade and send the paperwork to the league office.
Ryan (Memphis)
If Vince continues to play well can both he and Fisher co-exist in Nashville for the foreseeable future? Would Fish try to move on to a different team tor rid himself of meddling ownership?
Paul Kuharsky (3:56 PM)
Fisher is under contract. He doesn't get to decide to leave.
Clarence (Asbury Park, NJ)
I believe you and I have an appointment in Nashville next Wednesday night. Any requests?
Paul Kuharsky (3:58 PM)
Top request (Jungleland) is guaranteed since you are playing all of Born to Run. So I'll take Streets of Fire please. My seat is near you.
Jason (Orlando)
Do you enjoy these chats or do you only do them because ESPN makes you? Your answers are sometimes rather abrupt. (Not complaining, just wondering...)
Paul Kuharsky (3:58 PM)
I like them. Some questions demand abrupt answers, and a lot of people here count on me to answer appropriately.
Peyton Manning (Indy)
PK, I study film every waking minute of the day. I can't do that at your place. You have Finley and the new bundle of joy.
Paul Kuharsky (3:59 PM)
As luck would have it, they both love film!
Brandon (VA)
With every win the Titans make does that make Jeff Fisher's seat hotter than it was before since Bud had to jump in and make a decision and it has helped the Titans win two games since.
Paul Kuharsky (4:00 PM)
So you think Jeff would prefer to lose and that losing would improve his chances of staying? Can we think that through?
Awayne (INDY)
Paul I need to rephrase would it be smart for vets to wait untill there is a new CBA to sign long term deals when in all likely hood there will be a rookie salary structure. There may not be CBA in place for next season but I can't see either side wanting to go into 2011 without a CBA>
Paul Kuharsky (4:00 PM)
Smart vets take the money when they can get it, and if you can get it now you never wait.
Jason (Chicago)
Why does Peter King contiune to say Fisher would have started VY had bud not intervened... He contiuned to say Kerry gives us the best chance to win (that was NEVER true) He had given up on VY why isnt this reported in the media. The split snaps Wednesday before the Jags game means that he intended to stick with KC as long as possible
Paul Kuharsky (4:02 PM)
I've said it time and time again, that Fisher and the staff had no faith in VY. Am I not of the media? Fisher want is spun the other way now because it looks horrible if it's perceived he's playing the owner's guy and if it appears VY doesn't have his support.
Ed (Arkansas)
Here's a Titans question that doesn't mention VY ... except for that one time. It seems that Kenny Britt has made quite a few implact plays and yet he doesn't seem to be getting any additional time. I know Fisher won't start him, but why not work him in more during the game? Gage's injury should give him some time this week, but when both of the starters are playing, shouldn't he be seeing more quality time?
Paul Kuharsky (4:02 PM)
I thought so. But then you saw the two catches Gage made last week.
Awayne (INDY)
What's the first jersey you are going to buy for the newest Kuharsky?
Paul Kuharsky (4:03 PM)
I'm not a jersey guy. At all. I believe you can be a huge fan and not pretend every game is Halloween.
Eddie G. (Pensacola, FLA)
Do you think with the injury prone Sanders, the Colts maybe look to trade him for perhaps some drafts picks in this years draft?Or do they keep him on the 'risk reward' ideals they have been?
Paul Kuharsky (4:04 PM)
What teams do you think are sitting around thinking of what they can offer up for a safety who will miss half its games and have trouble passing an entry physical?
Peyton Manning (via mobile)
Uh Paul? I've asked for directions to your house before but you never gave them to me. Again, we haven't been communicating well and I feel left in the dark.
Paul Kuharsky (4:04 PM)
No Garmin, chief?
Justin Gage (Nashville)
So how do you feel about dissing me now that I broke my back giving it up for the team?
Paul Kuharsky (4:05 PM)
Here's the thing, JG: That you made a great catch Sunday doesn't mean you did anything during the first seven games. If I write something fantastic today, does it make my work from two months ago better?
Shawn (TN)
It seems inconceivable that the coaching staff were/are so wrong about Vince. Yet he has played well. How do we reconcile those two?
Paul Kuharsky (4:06 PM)
With time.
CJ (Duval)
Do you think the Jags can package their 1st round pick and Reggie Nelson to move up in the draft to get Eric Berry or Taylor Mays?
Paul Kuharsky (4:07 PM)
Again, we're taking a struggling player and presuming he has value he doesn't have.
David ((TN))
They think trades like that for boldin are good/reasonable for that cheap from playing too madden paul
Paul Kuharsky (4:08 PM)
Should I blame all bad stuff on Madden going forward? The game, not the guy?
Matt (IN)
PK out of curiosity, do you guys ever use fake names and post questions in the other bloggers chats?
Paul Kuharsky (4:08 PM)
I wish I had that kind of time. I trust you guys take care of it for me.
Charles (Goodlettsville)
Is Jersey Mike's really like a sub from home?
Paul Kuharsky (4:09 PM)
It is. Delicious!
Ed (Arkansas)
Don't get me wrong, I like Justin Gage. I think he is a good possession guy and he comes up big in big games (ie the playoff game against Baltimore last year), but when he struggles such as he has earlier this year and the start of last year when he was injured, why does the coaching staff not work in the other guys. Is an injured Gage better than a healthy Brandon Jones? Is a struggling Gage better than a learning Kenny Britt? I just don't understand it.
Paul Kuharsky (4:10 PM)
Welcome to Jeff Fisher-level loyalty.
Eddie G. (Pensacola, FLA)
What teams are sitting around wanting a player like Bob Sanders ?? Patriots, Raiders, Titans. Teams that will take a risk to see the reward I'm sure. And all three teams to me need help in the secondary even is he does miss some games for them. They are all willing to take a risk I think.
Paul Kuharsky (4:11 PM)
Raiders could do anything. I think you're wrong about Titans and Patriots giving up anything of value for him. I know the Titans wouldn't.
Jamel (J'ville, FL)
off topic, but Pacquiao or Cotto???I pick Pacquiao
Paul Kuharsky (4:11 PM)
Last fight I cared about may have been in the 80s. There is a sport that killed itself.

When is the next "complaint" vidoe coming? I like those. I like complaining too.
Paul Kuharsky (4:12 PM)
Well thank you. One will be filmed this very evening and posted tomorrow morning. A regular Friday feature.
Paul Kuharsky (4:14 PM)
