Buzzmaster (2:07 PM)
Hang on folks. We're getting JG.
Rick (Long Island,NY)
My man JG!! The crack of the chatrooms, I need my fix! Please, give me something positive about the Broncos this year, can they surprise? What will it take?
Jeremy Green (2:13 PM)
It is going to take them finding a playmaker on the outside... they have to find a way to overcome Marhsall's production
Paul (Bean Town)
The Patriots have the potential to win it this year with a healthy and focused Tom Brady. How significant is Wes Welker's injury even though they have a strong back-up in Julian Edelmen?
Jeremy Green (2:17 PM)
It is still significant because he unlike Edleman is a guy that still draws some double coverage in certain situations.
Aaron (San Diego)
I think the Chargers should have stayed where they are and taken Jahvid Best. Your thoughts?
Jeremy Green (2:20 PM)
I think they gambled a bit and gave up a lot to move up in the draft but I think they got the right back in Matthews. He is the guy that best fits their offensive system.
Hayden (Logan, Utah)
you sold on Alex Smith?
Jeremy Green (2:24 PM)
No not yet. Sold on him at least not being a bust but I am far from thinking he is the definite answer at QB in SF>
Nathan (Coralville, IA)
Will your dad be back in the UFL next year? How did he like that gig?
Jeremy Green (2:25 PM)
Yes he is back this year... he is coaching the same team but they are Sacramento this yea instead on San Francisco... thanks for asking.
Chad (Las Vegas)
Does the Vicodin scandal with the Saints effect them at all on the field?
Jeremy Green (2:26 PM)
No I don;t think it does... players play and coaches coach etc... I don't think it has an affect on the field.
Well, Peter King has the Panthers ranked 8th in his power rankings...with Matt Moore at the helm, even though he says it's John Fox's last year. Do you buy a wild card birth and they still fire Fox?
Jeremy Green (2:30 PM)
I think if they make the playoffs it will save Fox's job... I hope it happens as I am a bif Fox fan
Ryan (Germantown, MD)
What do you expect from Brandon Jacobs this season?
Jeremy Green (2:33 PM)
I don't think he has a big season. He is a guy that needs a lot of run room to be effective and the Giants line is aging and not as good as it once was
Ryan (San Diego)
If the Jets and Chargers played again today, who would win? I think the Jets are severely handicapped by their quarterback while the Chargers upgraded their need areas
Jeremy Green (2:33 PM)
The Chargers would win that game 8 out of 10 times... they were the better team last season and the better team now.
Who is the best QB in the NFC East?
Jeremy Green (2:37 PM)
I still think Donavan McNabb is the best QB in the NFC East though he is definitely not on the best team
Is JaMarcus Russell done? I heard he is up to 300 lbs., and is considering entering hot dog scarfing contests.
Jeremy Green (2:38 PM)
I think someone will give him a look this season in their camp
Who is the better CB for the Cowboys? Newman or Jenkins?
Jeremy Green (2:39 PM)
Newman was a little nicked up last season but when healthy he is still the best CB in Dallas.
What do you see Oakland's record being when all is said and done? Can they ever return to greatness for old tymes sake with that dead corpse Al Davis running things? Oy Vey! Oy Vey!
Jeremy Green (2:40 PM)
They are like 5-11... nobody respects the greatness that was once Oakland anymore.
Chad (Las Vegas)
Will the Bengals regret signing PacMan?
Jeremy Green (2:41 PM)
I don't think so. They did not invest anything in the signing and are deep at the CB position. They have nothing to lose by just giving him an opportunity.
The Cardinals will finish the regular season 5-11....agree or disagree?
Jeremy Green (2:45 PM)
I disagree with that statement. Leinart has played and put some numbers up at times plus they play in the NFC West. They will be in the hunt for a division title.
Speaking of the Cardinals, does Beanie Wells become a top-10 RB this year?
Jeremy Green (2:48 PM)
I think he does. They keep upgrading the offensive line and they are going to have to pound the ball a little more on the ground this season... I think he takes his game to the next level.
Jeremy, why in the world did the Jaguars draft Tyson Alualu with the 10th overall pick?
Jeremy Green (2:49 PM)
Nobody can answer that question... I am not sure they have that answer.
Bob (Bob City)
Are ya fired up?? Do you make anything of the Browns winning their last 4 games? Can that carry over into this year?
Jeremy Green (2:51 PM)
Not really... still have issues at the QB position. Thought I think they will be better I do not see any big win streaks in their near future.
Green well if that NYJ / SD game was played in the playoffs then who would win? B/c as long as they have that coach, they aren't going to win big in Jan.
Jeremy Green (2:52 PM)
Coach and don't forget about Keading as a post season kicker. Hard to argue that Kevin. I think San Diego is the better team but clearly they are not better coached.
You really believe in Leinart? He runs around like the man dressed up as "The Big One", and has the field vision of a dead person. There isn't an otter pops chance in hell the Cardinals repeat. Good luck.
Jeremy Green (2:53 PM)
I don't know about that because they are clearly in the worst division in football.
Chris (Myrtle Beach, SC)
Will James Davis play an important role on the Browns this year? Or did the drafting of Hardesty pretty much mean the Browns have lost faith in him?
Jeremy Green (2:55 PM)
I think he still has a chance to play a role. The Browns are just trying to create some competition at the position because they do not really have a featured runner.
Hayden (Logan, Utah)
why does gore get hurt every year but still doesnt want to share carries?
Jeremy Green (2:56 PM)
I don't know any starting RB's in the NFL that want to SHARE carries.
Is the AFC up for grabs or the Pats still the favorites?
Jeremy Green (2:57 PM)
I think the AFC is plenty up for grabs right now and not sure I would say the Pats are the favroites.
Jeremy Green (3:00 PM)
Thanks everyone for the chat... I will see you back here next Monday.
