Chat with Curtis Strange
Strange was named PGA Player of the Year in 1988.
Welcome to SportsNation! On Wednesday, Hall of Fame golfer Curtis Strange stops by to chat about the 2010 U.S. Open.
Strange is a two-time U.S. Open champion and was the last player to win back-to-back Opens in 1988 and 1989.
He is considered one of the leading golfers of the 1980s having spent over 200 weeks in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Rankings between their debut in 1986 and 1990. During that time, he won 16 out of his 17 PGA Tour events. He sat atop the PGA Tour money list in 1985, 1987-88, when he became the first man to win a million dollars in official money on the Tour in a season.
