Chat with Tim Tebow
Tebow's jersey is the fastest-selling rookie jersey of all-time.
Welcome to SportsNation! On Thursday, Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow stops by to chat about his rookie NFL season, as well as the NFL upcoming playoffs.
Tebow was drafted by the Broncos with the 25th overall pick in the 2010 NFL draft. During his rookie season he totaled 11 touchdowns (five rushing, six passing), 654 passing and 227 rushing yards. After an injury to starting quarterback Kyle Orton, Tebow started the final three games of the season.
On Jan. 6 at 7 p.m. ET, ESPN will air "Tim Tebow: Everything in Between," a documentary about Tebow preparing for, and playing in, his first season in the NFL. It will also re-air on ESPN2 at midnight.

Tim is on FirstTake right now but will be here right after he's finished chatting with Dana.
Tim Tebow (11:16 AM)
This is my first time chatting with ESPN.com and I'm really looking forward to it. I hope everybody tunes into my documentary tonight on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET. Let's get this started!

Hey Tim, what do you think of the Will Muschamp hire at Florida?
Tim Tebow (11:17 AM)
I think it's a good hire. I played against him twice in college and he had a very good defensive game plan against us. I've talked to Coach Muschamp and he sounds like a good guy and I think he's a good fit for Florida.
How do you account for the incredible sales of your nfl jersey, topping all other nfl players?
Tim Tebow (11:19 AM)
I'm not sure, but I know that being a QB and being from Florida; I had a lot of support. Coming to Denver I also had a lot of support; the fans are great out here. I'm very humbled by people going out there any buying my jersey and supporting me on and off the field. That really means a lot to me.

How did it feel to lead the Broncos to a come back victory in your first home start?
Tim Tebow (11:20 AM)
It was actually my second start but my first start at Mile High. Being down 17-0 in the first half and coming back to win 24-23 was great. It was something very special and something that I will always remember.
T Lee (Denver)
How do you like Denver Man? I know you've spent the majority of your life in warm climates...
Tim Tebow (11:21 AM)
That is true; I lived most my life in Florida but living in Denver is very exciting. I was looking forward to a white Christmas but it didn't snow until three days after Christmas.

Which is more imposing, the crowds in the SEC or the crowds in the NFL?
Tim Tebow (11:22 AM)
That's a good question. Oakland had some good fans but it's still not as rowdy as the SEC. Especially places like LSU. As far as the crowd loudness, the SEC takes the cake.
Tim, in your opinion what is the biggest difference in the NFL game compared to college?
Tim Tebow (11:24 AM)
I'd say the biggest difference is the anticipation. In the NFL you have to make adjustments so much quicker than in college. The players are so much faster in the league that you have to think and adjust quicker.
Robbie Grant (jersey)
Who helped you the most to getting through your rookie season, through that "rookie wall"? A player, or a coach?
Tim Tebow (11:25 AM)
That's a good question. The advice I got form Champ Bailey, Brian Dawkins, and Elvis Dumervil was very important to me. Those guys are vets and have been through the ups and downs of an NFL season so I really took to any advice they had for me.
How did it feel after scoring your first touchdown in the nfl?
Tim Tebow (11:27 AM)
It felt really good. It was a play action pass, I rolled out left and threw a little jump pass. It felt really good.
Evin (Salt Lake City)
What are your plans this off season with regards to continuing to improve your footwork and throwing motion?
Tim Tebow (11:28 AM)
I will take a week or so off and then get back to work. After that, hopefully I'll find out who our new head coach and QB coach will be. Once that happens I would like to start working with them on what they would like to see from me next season.
How hard was the transition from an elite college QB to a NFL rookie QB?
Tim Tebow (11:30 AM)
I would say the anticipation of the game was the hardest thing to adjust to.
Tim Tebow (11:34 AM)
It's been a fun year with the Broncos and I think we have a great future in front of us. I'm glad to have John Elway on board. To be able to learn from him would be great. Tune into my documentary "Tim Tebow: Everything in Between" airing tonight on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET. It's all the behind the scenes stuff that you don't usually get to see. Thanks for all the great questions. God Bless and Go Broncos!!!
