Buzzmaster (12:37 PM)
Denver Nuggets forward Al Harrington will be by shortly to take your questions!
Buzzmaster (12:44 PM)
I hear Al coming our way!
Buzzmaster (12:45 PM)
Al is here!
Nathan (Kentucky)
Al, what is your favorite arena to play in?
Al Harrington (12:46 PM)
Now, it's Madison Square Garden.
Chris (Denver)
So, how important is it to have a well shaved head? I'm guessing important. So, then, how happy are you to be working with HeadBlade?
Al Harrington (12:47 PM)
For me, since I have no hair line, it's very important. That's why I'm very happy HeadBlade came knocking on my door to keep my head shaved for free.
Jeremy (Chicago, IL)
What is the one thing that you have to do before every game?
Al Harrington (12:47 PM)
Put my shoes on. LOL.
Oscar (Michigan)
Which team gives you the most satisfaction after beating them? Why?
Al Harrington (12:47 PM)
This year, it was the Lakers.
Shawn (Barre,Vermont)
Hey Al!! I have always loved your game, very exiciting "slasher" style of play. What have you been doing during the offseason??Working out?Any exotic vacations??Taking time for family??
Al Harrington (12:48 PM)
I just had a baby a month ago. So I have no time for vacations. I've just been working out. I've lost 12 pounds since the season ended.
Nathan (Missouri)
Al, how do you think the finals have gone? Who do you think will end up winning it?
Al Harrington (12:49 PM)
The Finals have been great. My gut says Dallas, but if LeBron and Wade can get on the same page and play well at the same time, I think it will be tough for Dallas to beat them 2 of 3.
jesse (iowa)
as kid who was your favorite nba team?
Al Harrington (12:49 PM)
My favorite team was the Knicks. My favorite player was the great, iconic Michael Jordan.
Amaan (New Jersey)
Do you miss being a Knick at all? You were the whole focus on offense. And what is it like being a cousin of another NBA Player?
Al Harrington (12:49 PM)
Yes, big time.
Al Harrington (12:50 PM)
I really wanted to re-sign there, but things just didn't work out.
JimmyZ (PHX, AZ)
How long did it take you to adjust to the Denver altitude?
Al Harrington (12:50 PM)
It's pretty severe. It took me like two weeks. Now, I'm good.
Dontrelle (San Jose)
Al, us Warriors fans miss you, S Jax and the others. Thanks for the time you put in here in GS and good luck the rest of your career. Did you enjoy your stay out here in the Bay?
Al Harrington (12:51 PM)
I love the Bay Area. San Francisco is now one of my favorite cities. The fans are awesome. They probably have some of the most loyal fans. I've been around.
Nathan (Kentucky)
Al, who is the toughest player to go up against?
Al Harrington (12:52 PM)
Dirk, because of his size. It's impossible to block his shot.
Vince DeBartolomeis (Denver, Colorado)
Big Al,I am a big fan of the Denver Nuggets and yourself. I wanted to know if you think that the Nuggets can still contend without Carmelo Anthony? Thank you and go Nuggets!!
Al Harrington (12:53 PM)
Trading him was, for me, I liked him as a teammate. I kind of missed him after he was gone. After he left, our team came together as a team. We shared everything. We helped each other defensively. IT made us more dangerous, because we were so unpredictable.
Scott (Indy)
Al, we miss ya! When you grill out, do you go with gas grill or charcoal?
Al Harrington (12:54 PM)
I have a gas grill at home, but I can't cook at all. If it's not my chef, then it has to be a friend of mine to do all the grilling.
Dino (Chicago)
Do you agree with all the minutes Erik Spoelstra is playing Lebron?
Al Harrington (12:54 PM)
It may be too much, as the series goes further, it might catch up to him. But with the Finals, I think anybody's ready to play 48 minutes for 7 games. I'm sure he won't use that as an excuse.
jesse (iowa)
if miami would win the finals, who do you think should be finals mvp? if the dallas would win, who do you think should be the finals mvp? thanks alot man
Al Harrington (12:55 PM)
For Miami, it would probably be D-Wade. For Dallas, definitely Dirk.
Scott (Northglenn, CO)
What do you think the Nugs need to do to improve next year?
Al Harrington (12:56 PM)
I really like our team, the way it is already. I guess you could say we could add a big man, but we're already jammed at the 4-5 spots. We have a lot of guards. We need a full training camp and see what we can do.
Brad (Gadsden,Alabama)
Al, Do you have any pre-game rituals?
Al Harrington (12:57 PM)
I can't play the game without a 5-hour energy. That's the one thing I must have.
Cheesehead Sports Nut (Chicago, IL)
I am not trying to get you fined here but if you could change one thing about the NBA what would you change and why?
Al Harrington (12:57 PM)
Yeah, I would change the technical rule, where they say you can't react and want us to act like robots, where we pay money for each technical.
Clay Defayette (New York)
Has anyone on your team tried to encourage Ty Lawson to get inked?
Al Harrington (12:58 PM)
Ty is so dark, he's already inked up.
Scott (Northglenn, CO)
Do guys seem happy sharing playing time? I worry that with basically 2 starters at each position, there will be animosity...
Al Harrington (12:59 PM)
I don't think that will happen, unless you know guys coming up for contracts at the same time. Right now, I think everyone is in a safe comfortable place. so, I think it will work for now.
Scott (Northglenn, CO)
Better feeling: hitting a dagger 3 or dunking on someone?
Al Harrington (12:59 PM)
Since I don't dunk on anybody, a dagger 3.
jesse (iowa)
which team do love to hate?
Al Harrington (12:59 PM)
No, not for me. No.
Al Harrington (1:00 PM)
We're all friends.
Jeremy (Chicago, IL)
Why were the Nuggets more successful once Carmelo went to the Knicks?
Al Harrington (1:01 PM)
I don't know. I don't think that Melo was bogging us down. We were actually good when he was there. People make it seem like we were below .500. We just became a deeper team. We just kept fresh bodies coming at teams and they couldn't handle it.
Clay Defayette (New York)
Who on the Nuggets has the best tattoos?
Al Harrington (1:01 PM)
I would say it's between, well, Wilson got some new ones lately. So, him Birdman and JR. I can't pick between those three.
Al Harrington (1:01 PM)
Thank you for the continued support. Go Nuggets!
