Muschamp is entering his first season as head man of at Florida.

Welcome to SportsNation! On Thursday, the Florida Gators newest head football coach, Will Muschamp stops by to chat about the upcoming season.

Muschamp comes to Florida after stints with LSU, the Miami Dolphins, Auburn and, most recently, Texas. LSU won the 2003 BCS National Championship with his defense leading the nation in scoring defense and total defense. His defensive background began as a player when he played safety for Georgia from 1991-94.

Muschamp was named head coach of the Gators on December 11 after then head coach Urban Meyer retired. He takes over a Florida program that finished last season at 7-5.
