The NBA scoring champ in 2009 with a 30.2 ppg average, Wade is at 25.4 ppg for his career.
Welcome to SportsNation! On Wednesday, former NBA champion and seven-time all-star Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade stops by to chat hoops.
Wade and the Heat team came within two wins of nabbing their second title in five years. Lst year, the Heat won their eighth division title in making their second trip to the NBA Finals in team history. Wade finished in the top 10 in MVP voting for the fifth time in his eight years in the league.
This past NBA season, Wade worked with Mission Athletecare to develop Court Grip, a revolutionary new product that helps combat the negative effects of dusty, worn-out basketball courts, allowing players to cut more aggressively and change directions quicker. It's available at Foot Locker and EastBay.com.
Send your questions now and join Wade Wednesday at 4:45 p.m. ET!

How does this court grip product differ from other court grip products such as the sticky mat that is currently (as of last year) used in the NBA? And do you think this Mission product will one day replace the sticky mat?
Dwyane Wade (4:30 PM)
Yeah, the slip not in the middle of the court. When you step on them, you get the grip, but when you step on the court, it's gone. We wanted a product that lasted longer. It lasts longer and you don't have to apply it every second. It gives you that confidence to go out on the court and perform. A lot of the courts are there are bad courts. It gives you that confidence.
Tommy (Madison, WI)
Are you anticipating to play for the USA Olympics team along with LeBron and Chris Bosh?
Dwyane Wade (4:31 PM)
Yes, that's a strong possibility. Nothing has came out about it, but that's a possiblity. Hopefully.
Dwayne! Pleasure to speak to you. Do you have any quirky conditioning routines planned during the lockout? Larry Fitzgerald was swimming with Olympians...
Dwyane Wade (4:32 PM)
Nothing like that. I understand how to keep my body in shape and ready for a long season. Conditioning has been a big part of it. A lot of beach running. Lot of yoga. Keeping my body in condition. Running on that hard sand on the beach is hard.
Will you playing overseas, in Europe, if they canceled whole regular season?
Dwyane Wade (4:33 PM)
If the whole regular season is cancelled you have to open your option book. I hope we come to an agreement. If that changes, I'll make a decision. But I have custody of my two sons, so that will come into play. I have to think about that. But I'll be out of a job for a whole year.
Kyle (Austin, TX)
Were you able to use Court Grip during the season last year?
Dwyane Wade (4:34 PM)
I did. I broke it out behind the scenes. Started using it on the courts that I thought were bad. Not just in practice. A lot of people saw me putting something on my shoes and didn't know what it was. But now it's official and it's out.
Have u lebron or bosh practised together in the summer?
Dwyane Wade (4:34 PM)
We all keep in touch with each other. We have separate lives, but they come in with each other. We just try to get together as we can. The guys have busy schedules.
What do you think are the key's to winning a championship next year?
Dwyane Wade (4:35 PM)
First of all, individually getting better. Coming back as a better team, better unit. Now that we feel each other out better. We'll be better. It takes time. We try to fast track it. We come back with confidence and put ourself in position to compete for a championship.
Madison (Columbus, OH)
If the season continues to delay because of the lockout, do you think players will come together to do more exhibition games like they did this summer?
Dwyane Wade (4:36 PM)
Yeah, that's a possibility. Hopefully we get an insight on what's going on this week with all of the labor talk. We can plan on how to approach things. Guys have been playing games in their hometowns. Hopefully we can continue if nothing else comes up.
Alden (Miami, Fl)
How has playing with two other superstars (lebron, and bosh) make you better as a player?
Dwyane Wade (4:37 PM)
It's been good. It's been a different experience. I played with one in Shaq and now I'm playing with two other guys. It's a challenge. It makes you go into games a little less heavy. There are other guys that can do things and you don't have to force things.
David (San Francisco, CA)
You've become quite an international figure. Is there a particular place outside of US that you especially enjoy traveling to?
Dwyane Wade (4:38 PM)
If I tell you, then it wouldn't be to get away from everything. But yes there is one.
Dwyane Wade (4:39 PM)
I appreciate you taking the time to submit your questions. For all of the fans that believe in the Heat and me, I appreciate the support. I'm not who I am as a basketball player without your support. Hopefully you get to see me and your favorite team, the Miami Heat, this year.
