Vince is here!
Raj (Los Angeles, CA)
Hi Vince. Big fan of yours! What was it like working with Richard Ayoade?
Vince Vaughn (9:59 AM)
Richard is the best. He's funny, smart. Really talented guy. He's also a very talented director. We had a blast working with him.
Dave Gary (San Jose, CA) [via mobile]
How much of the movie is scripted and how much is improvised?
Vince Vaughn (9:59 AM)
We had a good script to start with, but we all played around as well. With Jonah, Ben, Richard, myself and the director, we all played around and got to do takes that were offscript as well.
Dan (NJ)
I know your a big hockey fan. Who do you thingk wins the cup, Kings or Devs/Rags?
Vince Vaughn (10:00 AM)
Boy it's hard to say, it will be a good series. It's exciting for the Kings. It will be a good series. It's nice to see a lot of people getting enthusiastic about hockey.
Deven (Buffalo, NY)
Hi Mr. Vaughn. Love your work. What do you think is the difference in working with Ben Stiller in this movie than the first time you worked with him when you both did Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, which a favorite of mine?
Vince Vaughn (10:01 AM)
I always have so much fun working with him. In this one we are working together. In Dodgeball, we were pinned together.
Jeff (Chicago)
Since the Bulls are the only team winning these days in Chicago, how upset were you when you heard Rose had the season-ending injury? I was ready to throw up myself.
Vince Vaughn (10:02 AM)
Yes, it's disappointing. The Bulls were so close last year. With Rose and Noah getting hurt, it was unfortunate because they looked as good as anyone. The Blackhawks are winning, they just excited earlier than we would have liked them to.
Cameron Dallas Tx [via mobile]
How do ya feel about the bulls next year with the health of rose ?
Vince Vaughn (10:02 AM)
I think it's a tough injury to come back from, especially with the game that he plas. But if he can get healthy, they'll do great.
Brad (Gadsden,Alabama)
Vince, Who do you think is going to win the NBA finals?
Vince Vaughn (10:03 AM)
I think it's a fun year for the NBA, because I don't think there's a clearcut favorite. Any of the teams left have a shot. It will be competitive down to the finish.
Deven (Buffalo, NY)
Who's funnier: Jonah or Ben?
Vince Vaughn (10:03 AM)
Boy they're both funny.
Danny C (NY)
What do you think is the funniest movie that you have ever been in?
Vince Vaughn (10:04 AM)
I think the Watch ranks right up there with them. I've been fortunate to be in a lot of funny movies. Wedding Crashers, Dodgeball, Breakup, it's hard to say which one is the funniest.
Daryl (Cali)
hey Vince, your a pretty tall guy. Would you have wanted to play Basketball or football professionally?
Vince Vaughn (10:05 AM)
I was never faced with the talent to have to decide between those two things.
B (H, TX)
Ricky Slade is the greatest character of all time. Do you and Jon Favreau have any upcoming projects together? Couples Retreat was legit but need more of the classic back-and-forth that shaped my childhood in Swingers and Made. Thanks!
Vince Vaughn (10:06 AM)
We don't have any currently. That was the first one I produced and the first that Jon directed. It was a fun movie and a funny movie.
Deven (Buffalo, NY)
Since this chat is on ESPN.com, which sports do you follow the most and who are your favorite teams?
Vince Vaughn (10:06 AM)
I probably follow all sports a little bit. I like hockey quite a bit. I like football. I like college basketball when it gets down to March Madness. I like baseball. I enjoy them all. I watch them all.
Vince Vaughn (10:07 AM)
But if I had to pick one favorite....it would be the luge. Team luge.
Kurtis (Houston, TX) [via mobile]
Vince youre one of my favorite actors in the business. I especially love the work you do with the pack (ferrell, stiller, wilson brothers, black). Any NEW projects in the works that might put a few of yall back together on the big screen?
Vince Vaughn (10:08 AM)
Yes, me and Owen Wilson are doing our first movie together since The Wedding Crashers. Owen and I lose our jobs in The Internship. We go get jobs at a company like Google and we're a little older than the rest of the kids.
steve (nyc)
Who your favorite NFL team?
Vince Vaughn (10:08 AM)
If the Bears can stay healthy, they have a chance. It's a tough division. They were in the NFC Championship 2 years ago, so they have a chance.
Kevin (CT)
You've been in a lot of funny movies and you see to have great chemistry in all of those movies... how are you able to develop that chemistry?
Vince Vaughn (11:08 AM)
I've been lucky to work with people that I like most of the time. If I don't like them, I'll play head games with them to get their minds spinning.
Harry (NYC)
Do you think the Cubs will win the World Series in your lifetime?
Vince Vaughn (11:09 AM)
Vince Vaughn (11:09 AM)
Nice talking with everyone. Great to be here in Bristol at ESPN. I'm excited about The Watch coming out July 27.
