No there was no altercation. I did not demand a trade as Jim Souhan reported earlier this week.. I spoke with him about the article and he told me that he was going to tell my side of the story. So far that has not happened.

A.J. Welcome to S.F. It will be nice to have a dependable, long-term catcher for the first time in a long time. I'm curious how you follow the offseason movement. Do you find out about Giants moves on ESPN or the internet? Or do players here about moves from the club? Also, do you sit around (like us fans) hoping the team will sign someone (in this case, Guerrero), or do you try to stay detached and just see who shows up in February?

Yes I follow the moves via the internet and on ESPN. I also sit around and hope the Giants will sign however it will take to get us a world series win.

Thanks for the wallpaper. I was not angry about being traded but i was disappointed. I would have liked to stay there, but that was not realistic. I knew I was going I just didnt know where or when. I was happy about where I ended up

Hey AJ, talk to your uncle on a semi-regular basis, we're all proud of you back in Bridgehampton. I played ball against Ross Gload in East Hampton and he was the best player I ever saw on a high school level. He broke like every Long Island baseball record then, but didn't get drafted. You didn't end up going to high school in New York. Do you think your career would have been greatly hindered (like not getting drafted) if you had ended up staying on Long Island?
