I'm a little nervous but not much. I'm sure the closer it gets I will get a little nervous. But I have been preparing myself for this for a long time. I accomplished all I needed and I will graduate in the Spring. I'm ready for the NFL.

How do you think LSU's offense will fair now that Matt Mauck and Mark Clayton have opted for the NFL.

I think they will be just fine. We have three great QBs who are all learning the system. Even with the loss of Mauck and Clayton and all those guys, they will be just fine.

The defensive core is still there so they will be a top 5 defense.. but not as good as when I was with them!

Chad: You've smacked around some pretty impressive QBs over the last 2 years: Manning, White at OU, Roethlisberger at Miami, Green at UGA,etc. Although LSU made most of them look pretty bad, who would be the top 3 you've faced?

I'm not sure.. Eli was one of the better ones. Rex Grossman was good and had the talent to throw too. David Greene was good. There are a lot of them out there.

The first day here was pretty pressure filled .. there are so many people here .. head coaches and scouts. But once you start hitting, everything is fine. I was joking and clowing around today with the coaching staffs.

You know something, I wouldn't have been disappointed because we have no confiedence on that. It's been our approach in the past to take things one game at a time. We didn't want to worry about what we couldn't control. We just wanted to beat up our opponents each week.

You know, the way we played this year, I was one of the leaders but the guys I played with, they didn't need a guy yelling at them and getting in their face. We've had those guys in the past but we really didn't need that this year. I spoke up when things were going bad but I also spoke up in the good times. We have plenty of guys who can step up.

Honestly, yes, I always thought we had a chance to win it all. Our offseason program is ridiculous. They push us to the limit. The workouts are so hard that the games seem easy.

Doesn't bother me. When we get our ring it won't say co-champion. It will say champion. That is what makes college ball so interesting .. people that don't play a lick of football are all pissed off. That's great.

I need to get stronger. I need to be a little more of an anchor at the line. Sometimes I get pushed around because I'm lighter. But I can get stronger and be an anchor. I want to use my hands better.

None of them! Ours is the most intimidating. The way our fans treat the opposition, I get scared on the road that other fans will retaliate.

So many crazy stories .. when he's screaming and yelling he tends to grab his ass like he has a hemmoroid problem or something .. like he pulled a hamstring or something .. does it EVERY time!
