Welcome to SportsNation! On Thursday, Hall of Fame running back Barry Sanders stops by to chat about the start of the 2013 NFL season, as well as the release of Madden NFL 25.

Despite retiring at age 30, after just 10 seasons in the league, Sanders, @BarrySanders, rushed for 15,269 yards, which still ranks third all-time. His 99.8 rushing yards per game is second all-time behind Jim Brown.

This season, Sanders was voted as the EA Sports' Madden NFL 25 cover athlete as the game celebrates its 25th anniversary. The game hit stores Tuesday.
