The drama is over as far as deciding a season champion goes, but the Indy Racing League should put on another exciting show at its season finale this Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway. Always one of the more entertaining races on the IndyCar schedule, the Chevy 500 will have a new winner this year -- last year's winner, Gil de Ferran, retired after the season-ending race. Tony Kanaan, who already has clinched the title after finishing second in Fontana, Calif., on Oct 3, will be going for a sweep of the Texas races this year after winning the Bombardier 500 at the Fort Worth track on June 12.

However, the hottest driver at the moment is Adrian Fernandez, who has won the last two straight races and three of the past five overall. Whoever wins, a close race will almost certainly be on tap. Nine of the last 14 IRL events at Texas Motor Speedway have been decided by less than a second.

The other expected element of drama: Will a Chevy-powered car earn its first win of the 2004 season or will the bow-tie go 0-for-04? Honda engines have powered every victory this season except for the opening race, won by Sam Hornish Jr. in a Toyota-powered Penske car.

Be sure to watch Sunday's race (ABC, 12:30- 3 p.m. ET) and then log onto ESPN.com to chat with the winner afterward. The winning driver will be on hand to take your questions about 20 minutes after the race, so get your questions in early.
