As a Davis Cup player, John McEnroe holds or shares 20 U.S. Davis Cup records, including most years on the team (12), most singles victories (41) and most victories (59).
On Wednesday, an ESPN spokesperson announced the company signed a one-time agreement for McEnroe to serve as an analyst at this weekend's Davis Cup tie in Carson, Calif.
The Davis Cup will air on ESPN2 starting Friday at 4 p.m. ET.
