Ask Soccer Star Brandi Chastain!
Chastain, one of the most recognizable women in sports, will join ABC Sports and ESPN as a sideline reporter for the networks' Major League Soccer (MLS) telecasts. She will join play-by-play commentators JP Dellacamera, Rob Stone and analyst Eric Wynalda.
Chastain has been a member of the U.S. Women's National Team since 1988 -- as a junior at Santa Clara University. Brandi won the 1991, 1999 FIFA Women's World Cups and the 1996 and 2004 Olympic gold medals. She has represented the U.S. in 192 international matches, scoring 30 goals. On Sunday, June 10, 1999, in a sold-out Rose Bowl at the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup title match, Chastain provided one of the greatest moments in sports with the World Cup-clinching penalty kick.
Chastain has also been active off the pitch, co-authoring a book in 2004 -- It's Not About the Bra -- How to Play Hard, Play Fair, and Put the Fun Back Into Competitive Sports, addressing the issues of sportsmanship, gamesmanship and excessive parental involvement.
Brandi will be here Thursday at 7 p.m. ET. Send in your questions and join her right here!
