Malone spent 19 years in the NBA before retiring in 1995 as the NBA's third leading rebounder (16,212), fifth leading scorer (27,409) and having made more free throws than any other player (8,531). Malone led the NBA in rebounding six times and averaged more than 20 points per game for 11 consecutive seasons. He led the Philadelphia 76ers to the 1983 NBA Championship and was named the Finals MVP.
