Newly appointed Mystics Head Coach Richie Adubato is set to chat online with fans this Thursday, April 28 at 4 pm ET.

Adubato joins the Mystics after spending the last five seasons with the New York Liberty where he compiled a 100-79 record. He led New York to three Eastern Conference Championships in 1999, 2001, and 2003 and three WNBA Finals appearances. Under Adubato's leadership, The Liberty recorded their 100th franchise victory, becoming only the third WNBA franchise to reach this milestone. He coached the WNBA All-Star games in 2000, 2001, and 2003.

Prior to coaching in the WNBA, Adubato spent 19 years coaching in the NBA. He held head coaching stints with the Detroit Pistons, Dallas Mavericks and Orlando Magic, leading his teams to the NBA Playoffs twice. He was an assistant coach with the New York Knicks under Hubie Brown for four seasons. Adubato was also an assistant coach with the Cleveland Cavaliers and served as a scout for the Atlanta Hawks.
