Send in a question to any of our guests (just scroll down and use the white fields below) OR, if you don't have a question but just have something to say about the topic send in your comments right here and you could see them pop up on your TV screen on Saturday.
But since we can't wait until Saturday, we are going to have a special chat on Friday at 4 ET to start getting your feedback! Send your questions and comments now on the hot topics in sports!
No matter when or what you send us, be sure to include your name and your hometown!
YOU are SportsNation, we're checking YOUR PULSE. Sound off using the form below!
The Pulse (4:03 PM)
Hey there, SportsNation. It's hard to believe, but the Pulse on ESPNEWS is already hitting double digits. They grow up so fast, these shows. That's right, it's show No. 10 tomorrow afternoon. You guys tuned in yet?
John (Portland, ME)
This is the best chat of the week, because it means the weekend is less than an hour away! Sorry that's so east coast bias...
The Pulse (4:04 PM)
And we know you folks will be celebrating the end of the work week, so you don't need to role out of bed until 1 p.m. ET to catch The Pulse on Saturday. It goes great with cheerios.
Brian (Englewood, NJ)
I won't be able to make the Pulse this weekend. I have a good excuse though, I'm going to the EPSN Golf School. You guys have it all covered.
The Pulse (4:05 PM)
All right, that's a valid excuse. One of the very, very few. But that's why we're here now, Brian. You can still be a part of The Pulse. Got a question for the likes of Dee Brown, Chamique Holdsclaw or tennis guru Bud Collins? Give it to me now, and you might still make the show. (And set your Tivo).
Jay (NY)
As Little John would say....Yeaaahhhh!
The Pulse (4:06 PM)
We'll also have Bruce Bowen, who is taking some time off while watching the Heat and Pistons beat up on each other.
The Pulse (4:06 PM)
Eric Wynalda, soccer guru previewing Chivas vs. the Chicago Fire on ESPN.
The Pulse (4:07 PM)
Todd Bozeman, the former Cal coach who has been cleared to resume coaching.
The Pulse (4:08 PM)
And ESPN.com's own boxing expert, Dan Rafael.
Jay (NY)
Is Bruce Bowen gonna step on our feet after every question we ask?
The Pulse (4:08 PM)
You can be sure he'll put the clamps on David Amber if he tries to run the question a little long.
Brian (Englewood, NJ)
He doesn't step on feet, he gets underneath yours so that you step on his.
The Pulse (4:10 PM)
Anyone got a question you'd like Bruce to field? I'm telling you, you'll never have a better chance of getting your question seen than right now.
Brian (Englewood, NJ)
He was a guy that defended the best player on each team. I want to know who the toughest person he had to guard this year was.
The Pulse (4:13 PM)
That's a good one, Brian.
Todd (Salt lake city)
Bruce? who do see matching up against against the heat or pistons - depending on who wins their series
John (Portland, ME)
Here's one...Are you going to exchange Christmas cards with Ray Allen this year?
The Pulse (4:14 PM)
Nice try, not quite sure that will make the cut, John.
The Pulse (4:14 PM)
Quick tangent, how many folks here have seen at least one Pulse so far?
Jay (NY)
I've seen parts...my attention span to watch it is completely based on what guests you have. Anyone who rides something loses me.
The Pulse (4:17 PM)
Fair enough, racing's not your bag. We can respect that.
John (Portland, ME)
**Raising Hand**
Christine (Fresno)
You say that we are able to sleep in because the pulse doesn't start until 1pm eastern. But that is 10am out here, and a saturday morning hangover can be pretty rough...But I have watched the pulse once.
The Pulse (4:18 PM)
That's the kind of dedication we're looking for! You're allowed to turn the volume on low for your head, you'll still be able to see the polls and read the e-mails.
Brian (Englewood, NJ)
I've been there - it's good times. I might not be on my computer at the same time, but I'm watching.
Shawn (Vegas(Via Sioux Falls))
No Love for the WSOP opening day?? What gives
The Pulse (4:19 PM)
Hey, that's not a final list, Shawn. Don't worry, we'll be adding more guests overnight. Poker might yet make an appearance.
Christine (Fresno)
I too am topic driven, anything dealing with the Bosox or the Yanks makes me want to mute the TV, except perhaps a good losing streak...
The Pulse (4:20 PM)
All right, so you folks are a veteran bunch. What would you like to see different? More of? Less of? (other than the racing, Jay).
Derek (Stamford)
I think Eric Karabell needs to field his own 30 minute Fantasy Sports show preceding the pulse. Breraking down the week ahead/suprises/matchups etc.
3FF (Arlington, VA)
More soccer, but then again we live in the USA which cares about as much for soccer as Europe does for American football
The Pulse (4:21 PM)
Come on now, 3FF, I know you've got some questions you'd like to pose for Eric Wynalda tomorrow.
Derek (Stamford)
I have my tv set up so I wake up and fall asleep to ESPN News Everyday
The Pulse (4:23 PM)
You've got a future here, Derek!
Chris (Youngstown)
Forget Poker, i'm goin to beautiful PNC park, try to see a bucos win
The Pulse (4:24 PM)
Fair enough, attending games also serves as an acceptable excuse, but Tivo is a wonderful thing ... better than Russert for a Sunday morning.
Christine (Fresno)
How about a little more coverage of West Coast Sports, and I would like that from all of the ESPNs, not just the Pulse.
Michael (NY)
Chris (Youngstown) I hope you don't enjoy watching Jason Bay, and Tike Redman !
Christine (Fresno)
College Football though is my pick...More college football
John (Portland, ME)
What about a visit from The Sports Guy? Simmons never shows his face on ESPN.
Ryan (Worcester, MA)
Tell Dan Rafael he is crazy for thinking Rocky III is the best boxing movie ever...
3FF (Arlington, VA)
Here's a question for Mr. Wynalda: How bad is Malcolm Glazer going to screw up Manchester United and European Soccer? I am not a ManU fan by any stretch of the imagination, but this take over bid from Malcolm Glazer really has me steamed! Who does he think he is to go over there and take over one of the most dynamic sports franchises in the world...pardon me but I hope Malcolm Glazer gets his handed to him on a silver plate by the English faithful
The Pulse (4:27 PM)
All right, we may need to edit that slightly ... but that's the kind of passion we like to see.
Matt (Rochester, NY)
How bout more people from abstract sports...I'd like to ask a frisbee golf guy a few questions, or maybe a professional fooseball player
Derek (Stamford)
Please!! Thats my Dream Job. I want to give props to Nike for finding superstars at such a young age ie new tennis phenom Rafael Nadal. Why doesnt the pulse do a section on the "NEXT" superstar like the magazine.
Tony (Phx, Az)
Why does Dan Rafael always defend De La Hoya..Everyone knows he doenst want to fight Pretty Boy Floyd
John (Portland, ME)
What about one of the kids from the spelling bee?
The Pulse (4:29 PM)
That's probably on the board, but those kids are in high demand these days!
The Pulse (4:29 PM)
All right, 3FF and Tony have thrown down the gauntlet. I think this bunch in here can come up with five good questions before we depart for the weekend. You got five good Qs for the guests?
The Pulse (4:30 PM)
To refresh: Dee Brown, Eric Wynalda, Bruce Bowen, Dan Rafael, Todd Bozeman, Chamique Holdsclaw and Bud Collins.
Christine (Fresno)
How about an interview with Magic or Larry talking about how today NBA games are so boring it's hard to stay awake.
John (Portland, ME)
You can't go through an entire soccer chat without asking if Beckham is overrated.
3FF (Arlington, VA)
Can someone ask Bud what is his secret to the level of enthusiasm he brings to his broadcasts. How old is he and yet he goes non-stop like he is a young teenager in love
Shawn (Vegas(Via Sioux Falls))
What's up with ditching the West Coast early, we are the only people that get any work done, since we don't have anything to do for about 3 hours!!!
The Pulse (4:33 PM)
Not all of us can move to Vegas, Shawn.
3FF (Arlington, VA)
When will the Whites of Leeds United make it back to the Premier League and will Allan Smitty ever rejoin the team he grew up with?
Christine (Fresno)
Does Bruce ever get homesick for the horrid heat of the central valley?
Tony (Phx, Az)
This one is for Dan.....Ive heard you say many times that Oscar does not want to fight Floyd Mayweather, but yet say he is not ducking him..It would be a major money fight for both sides, especially when Maywether beats Gotti, but yet people say hes not ducking him, what is it called???Do you think the same will happen with Hopkins and Winky Wright??As the fighters are getting older are they getting smarter? Or just taking less chances???
Ryan (Worcester, MA)
Question for Dan Rafael.. what makes Sugar Ray Leonard one of your favorite fighters?
Christine (Fresno)
A question for Bozeman, are most Universities involved of some kind of infractions and not getting caught?
JC (Miami)
Question for Dan. Will boxing ever become a legitimate sport again since gamblers have such a strong hold on it?
The Pulse (4:43 PM)
All right, I think you guys are close to warmed up for the real thing tomorrow afternoon. Any final thoughts?
Ultimate Warrior (Parts Unknown)
Why is everyone asking Dan questions? Wasn't his chat like an hour ago?
The Pulse (4:44 PM)
Come on now, focus out there in Parts Unknown. He'll be back on The Pulse tomorrow afternoon.
Steve (Ithaca)
Question for Buzz - was the birth of The Pulse also the death of the ''TGIF'' chats?
The Pulse (4:44 PM)
No, ShowGirl retained Drew Rosenhaus and things went downhill from there. But they may yet return, no reason both couldn't happen.
Tony (Phx, Az)
for Shamika...Do you think there would be any chance in lowering the rims to give the taller athletes a chance to dunk, ally oops, and some more excitement??
John (Portland, ME)
Who's Shamika?
The Pulse (4:47 PM)
We don't do spelling, that was yesterday.
3FF (Arlington, VA)
Is anyone going to see the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants this weekend? (Buzz, put your hand down!)
Christine (Fresno)
If we can wake up at 10 to watch the pulse you all can stay at leat until 6:30 to help us waste our day...
The Pulse (4:48 PM)
A fair point, we'll take it under consideration.
The Pulse (5:35 PM)
We'll see y'all Saturday at 1 ET. If you stumble upon us in the meantime. Send in your questions for any of our guests now -- Bruce Bowen, Chamique Holdsclaw, Dee Brown, Bud Collins, Eric Wynalda, Todd Bozeman, or ESPN.com boxing writer Dan Rafael. Send 'em in, they'll all be joining you Saturday. Tune in to ESPNEWS from 1-4 ET to join in on all the fun!
The Pulse (10:49 AM)
Happy Saturday, we're a few hours away from The Pulse! We're only about a half an hour to kickoff of THE PULSE. Hey NFL fans, I really want to hear from you today. Any body have any thoughts on Kellen Winslow, Jamal Lewis, Sean Taylor, Terrell Owens, Ricky Williams, Travis Henry, Ty Law or Koren Robinson?? Lots of options for you. C'mon -- sound off now!!!!
The Pulse (12:41 PM)
Hey, any Georgia Tech fans in here? Remember your almost Heisman Joe Hamilton? He'll be joining us today. Send in your questions now!!
The Pulse (1:00 PM)
It's 1 o'clock on the east side ... away we go!!
Scott (Tipp City, Ohio)
You are looking Live time for some Pulse sports chatter.
The Pulse (1:04 PM)
You know it, Scott! It's time to check your pulse, SportsNation. Throughout the show, the questions and comments you see pop up on your TV screen come from THIS CHATROOM. Talk to me!
The Pulse (1:09 PM)
Tennis fans! Where you at??
Frank (Shaw AFB, SC)
Did Bud just call boxing civilized?
The Pulse (1:10 PM)
Look at that purple bowtie! Bud is a picture of civilization!
Kim (Aspen) )
The clay has gotten in Americans' heads. It's all in their mind! They are psyched out!!
The Pulse (1:11 PM)
You're on TV, Kim!
The Pulse (1:12 PM)
OK, now you guys got the hang of it. Tim Kurkjian is up next. Send in your baseball questions and comments now!
The Pulse (1:13 PM)
If you're in total NBA mode, I could use some questions and comments for Bruce Bowen, too. Send 'em in!
The Pulse (1:16 PM)
Here's Tim!
Bryan (Marion OH)
The Yankees are finally showing their true colors...Age!
James (Amityville)
The Yankees need to make a trade, they have to get rid of Kevin Brown, maybe for Clemens, or try for a younger arm, that they can nurture into a good pitcher.
Jay (NY)
Livan Hernandez is a robot.
Aj (Horseheads, NY)
Talk about underestimated teams! What about the White Sox. They are doing what they have to do which is winning!
The Pulse (1:20 PM)
Hey, speaking of the White Sox, your boy Mark Buehrle will be joining us on the show later this afternoon. Send him your questions and comments now!
Bryan (Marion OH)
People have been waiting all year for Chicago to fold up and its not going to happen
Travis (Hagerstown)
Everyone is talking about A-Rod as the MVP. What about Miguel Tejada? He isn't far off A-Rod's RBI pace and he means far more to his team.
The Pulse (1:21 PM)
You're on TV, Travis!
The Pulse (1:23 PM)
You guys are getting the hang of this, now! Next up is NFL with the professor -- John Clayton!
Frank (Shaw AFB, SC)
So Clayton is only gonna talk about off the field issues? Why not talk about the GAME?!
The Pulse (1:26 PM)
We'll get there. Cool your jets, Frank. There's a lot of off-field news right now. We've gotta cover all the bases, right? I mean, we've got Kellen Winslow Sr. lashing out!
Aj (Horseheads, NY)
Winslow is getting ripped apart for a true mistake. Stuff happens people get used to it.
Bryan (Marion OH)
Cleveland and Kellen Winslow need to end their marriage and move on
Scott (Tipp City, Ohio)
Kellen Winslow Sr. shut up and let his son take care of his problems.
Roger (Atlanta)
Kellen Jr. makes so much sense now. Tact does't exactly run in his family!
Paul (Carlsbad, Calif.)
Kellen Sr. should shut up! He is only making matters worse by antagonizing the media!
The Pulse (1:28 PM)
How 'bout Sean Taylor?
Scott (Tipp City, Ohio)
Sean Taylor just another in a long list of troubled Hurricanes.
The Pulse (1:29 PM)
How 'bout T.O.?
Neal (Philly)
I don't care how good T.O. is. He shouldn't get a restructured contract after only one year with the team.
Frank, Chicago IL
Did T.O. really say he didn't care who he plays foras long as he gets paid? Wasn't it just last year he wouldn't play for Baltimore, and didn't he just sign his deal last year?
Scott (Tipp City, Ohio)
T.O. just shut up or just go away, or both!
The Pulse (1:29 PM)
How 'bout Ricky??
Bennett (Hinckley, MN)
Is Ricky Willams Insane? 195 pounds?? He is going to get killed. Thats why they drafted Ronnie Brown. A back with a better future then Ricky Williams will ever have!
The Pulse (1:30 PM)
You're on TV, Bennett!
adam detroit
ricky ricky ricky he's done!
Bryan (Taunton,MA)
Ricky will be another team next year.
Aj (Horseheads, NY)
Even if Ricky does come back its not like he will make a big impact for the dolphins.
Dustin (La Palma)
Ricky williams is way too small.
Mike (St. Louis)
Ricky Williams' brain is too fried to play now.
adam detroit
ricky 195 pds can play kicker
The Pulse (1:32 PM)
Haha. What's your take on Ty Law??
Mike (Columbus)
What do you think about the Niners opening camp with either Rattay or Smith as the starter? I think Rattay is more than serviceable when healthy.
The Pulse (1:32 PM)
John Clayton is answering YOUR question right now, Mike!
maurisse (NYC)
If the Jets can they afford Ty Law why aren't they being a little bit more aggressive about getting him?
adam detroit
LAW COME TO DETROIT
Bryan (Marion OH)
Ty Law needs to lay down some Law and Order in Cleveland
Dustin (La Palma)
Ty law needs to stop whinning, he is getting old.
Jordan Gill (Lambertville, Michigan)
Ty Law is a great athlete, somebody will pay him.
Bryan (Taunton,MA)
Ty Law ends up with Browns. With his relationship with Crennel
Calvin (Clearwater, FL)
The Packers should go after Ty Law
adam (york,pa)
ty law is a good safety and i think he will land somewhere and make a difference
Frank (Shaw AFB, SC)
Ty Law to the 'Boys and get back with Parcells.
Roger
This is so cool! Who's next Pulse??
The Pulse (1:35 PM)
Next up we've got Todd Bozeman and Bruce Bowen ... Joe Hamilton is down the road and Chamique Holdsclaw, too. Need comments for EVERYBODY. Hit me!
The Pulse (1:47 PM)
OK, we're going Todd Bozeman to Joe Hamilton. Stick with us!
The Pulse (1:47 PM)
OK, we're going Todd Bozeman to Joe Hamilton. Stick with us!
Brad (Ann Arbor, Mi)
Bozeman got caught for something every coach in every College sport does.
Scott (Tipp City, Ohio)
This is America where we give people second chances. Todd Bozeman made a mistake we all make mistakes.
Aj (Horseheads, NY)
Bozeman i truly feel for you, you made a mistake and that type of thing happens to everybody .
Scott (Tipp City, Ohio)
Why should'nt Todd Bozeman get another job, E.Sutton did and others have also.
adam (york,pa)
tood will find a job somewhere why not bobby knight hit a kid and he still coaches.
Dylan (Clay,WV)
I dont even know what the man did
The Pulse (1:53 PM)
He gave a former player's family at Cal $30,000 dollars. The family was upset about playing time and narked out Bozeman. He was expelled for eight years.
Andy (Los Angeles)
i say Todd Bozeman deserves a second chance
Brad (Ann Arbor, Mi)
Bob Huggins is a worse offender
adam detroit
what is your dream job?
The Pulse (1:54 PM)
Bozeman is talking to you!
The Pulse (1:54 PM)
Bozeman is talking to you!
adam detroit
they asked my question!
James Humbane (Evansville, IN)
He did not commit a crime, he certainly deserves a second chance.
AJ (Horseheads, NY)
he gave 30 g's to one of his players.
Frank (Shaw AFB, SC)
Bob Huggins is worse only because he doesn't graduate anyone.
Bryan (Marion OH)
I cant believe Huggins is still coaching at Cincinnati
Dusty (Ringsted, Iowa)
yeah everybody makes mistakes...just don't do it twice
The Pulse (1:57 PM)
You're on, Christine!
Fred(Memphis, TN)
So Todd, why do you think the NCAA schools wont give you a second chance when Bob Knight did whatever he want at Indiana untill they eventually fired him and why dont you just take a smaller school job for right now?
The Pulse (1:57 PM)
You're on, Fred!
Scott (Tipp City, Ohio)
The real punishment should be to the booster who gave Bozeman the 30 grand.
The Pulse (2:01 PM)
Interesting take there, Scott. SportsNation -- you brought your A-Game today! I'm impressed. OK, after the break we'll go to Dee Brown and then to some boxing. Lots more on the way!
Caleb (Mascoutah)
Please enter your question. If Dwayne Wade plays against the Detroit Pistons' defense, he won't last through the first quarter.
Aaron Goetsch (Macomb, MI)
Detroit loves situations like this. They have had their back against the wall before and they have come through. I don't see it any different this time.
Nick (Westmoreland, NY)
Dwayne Wade is the most explosive player for Miami, but would just Shaq be enough to finish off the Pistons?
dwbrown21 (Artesia, NM)
Wade has no chance to be effective!!
adam detroit
wade = playing time for hunter
Anthony (simi valley)
if wade does not play tonite will the heat don't have a chance!
Cedric(Tampa,Florida)
Dwyane is Flash he can do anything
Jorge, Bayamon, Puerto Rico
There is a conspiracy for the Heat to go to the finals, if you saw game 5 Rasheed got an offensive foul when he turned around nd his shoulder touched D.Wade while Shaq was killing Ben Wallace and they only called the offensive fouls on him when the game was over. The referees looked like Shaq had promised them an all expenses paid trip to Tijuana
The Pulse (2:16 PM)
Haha. You're on, Jorge!
Andrew (Lusk, WY)
I'm so sick of hearing players and coaches like Rasheed Wallace and Jeff Van Gundy talk about conspiracy theories. I think 'Sheed needs to come up with a better excuse for his poor play. Maybe he'll actually show up in Game 6.
Caroline (Chapel Hill)
I hope that the game goes opposite than what the Pistons believe will happen in game 6. Although I am a tarheel and Wallace and many of their Piston's coaches are, it makes me mad that I now have to believe that the games are totally fixed. I am pissed off.
Jordan Gill (Lambertville, Michigan)
I may be a bit bias but in my eyes the refs have made some horrible calls the whole series. Twice ive seen them call fouls when the Heat players shooting wasnt even touched.
Vincent Turner (Detroit)
Why is Detroit crying about the calls in game 5 when they didin't cry about the calls in game 4. Oh yeah because they were getting the calls. The officiating is just bad period. The game moves to fast for some of these older officials. And why is basketball the only sport you can loose your star players because of fouls. It should be two shots and the ball for anything after 6 fouls. Or ref it all like college.
Andy (Los Angeles)
Watch what u say Jorge or else you'll get fined by NBA
The Pulse (2:18 PM)
Haha. You make us laugh, Andy.
Matt (Bismarck, ND)
Did the NBA just decide to slap four zeros behind Rasheed's point total in game 5 to fine him?
Matt (Bismarck, ND)
Shaq isn't ready to carry a basketball team? You have got to be kidding me Dee, what do you think he did last year during the finals against Detroit! He was the only solid one among the Failed Four of Payton, Malone, Kobe, and Shaq
Burr Ridge, IL
The fine towards Rasheed was truly bogus. Like Rasheed is the only one using inappropriate language on the air. If the NBA fines one person for cursing and criticism of refs let them fine everyone.
The Pulse (2:24 PM)
Alright, sounds good. You guys are up on your hoops. Lets see how you do in the ring. Send in your boxing questions now!
david bright (houston tx)
As a long time Tyson fan, I'd still pay to see him. How can someone who is not winning any major bouts still be the big marquee name in boxing
Aj (Horseheads, NY)
Tyson is getting up there in age for boxing. Dont think he can be the "comback boxer".
adam detroit
tyson should fight on friday night fights on espn
The Pulse (2:27 PM)
From your lips to their ears, Adam!
adam detroit
Tyson would get knocked out by Brian Kenny!
Dusty (Ringsted, Iowa)
because Tyson is a head case!
Gerry ((San Anselmo, CA))
Tyson can only hope someone knocks some sense into him. Literally.
Matt (Bismarck, ND)
No one wants to see Mike Tyson be the champion again. People don't want their children looking up to a guy with all of Tyson's problems.
Andy (Los Angeles)
he can win a fight as long as he eats before the fight and decides not to take a snack during the bout
Scott (Tipp City, Ohio)
Mike Tyson is still an attraction because the heavyweight division is in shambles besides everyone looks at a train wreck.
Cedric(Tampa,Florida)
Mike wouldn't stand a chance on the contender.
Jade Paragould Arkansas
What do you think people watch Mike Tyson more for: To watch him fight his hardest and win, or to fight his hardest and lose?
Dusty (Ringsted, Iowa)
maybe he can retire and become a speech therapist
The Pulse (2:31 PM)
I think SportsNation has officially just KO'd Mike.
Justin (Mahwah, NJ)
Anything new from the Forman camp? Is George still looking to comeback again?
The Pulse (2:32 PM)
You're on TV, Justin!
The Pulse (2:32 PM)
You're on TV, Justin!
adam detroit
i love formans grill
The Pulse (2:33 PM)
Everybody loves that grill. Amen!
The Pulse (2:33 PM)
Alright. You knocked the lights out of that segment. Bruce Bowen is up next. Talk to me!
Burr Ridge, IL
I think Bruce Bowen did a great job shutting down Shawn Marion.
Dominique (Rock Island)
Bruce Bowen is a dirty player
The Pulse (2:39 PM)
You're on, dominique. We don't beat around the bush here on The Pulse!
Burr Ridge, IL
Bruce isn't a dirty player. He's a great defensive player that's why he's been on the NBA All Defensive Team two years in a row
Greg (Romeoville, Illinois)
Bruce isnt a dirty player, it just seems that way because his opponents get so frustrated with his in your face style defense!
Matt (Bismarck, ND)
Bruce Bowen is dirty? Look at Elden Cambell, he intentionally fouls Shaq and still cries when he is called for the foul.
John (Orlando)
Bruce is the X-Factor for the Spurs. No doubt about it.
Jason San Antonio
Why do teams overlook Bruce's 3 point shot?
Greg (Romeoville, Illinois)
Why are there so few players that are defensive oriented like Bowen?
Cedric(Tampa,Florida)
i'd have Bruce on my team anytime!
Ryan (Boston,MA)
The Spurs are a boring team.
The Pulse (2:43 PM)
Alright, on to Chamique!
Sean NYC, NY
This is for Chamique Holdsclaw. Is playing with Lisa Leslie less demanding than playing in Washington?
Kashif, Chicago, IL
Chamique, what is the vision in your head that drives you to continue to overcome adverse situations and setbacks?
The Pulse (2:44 PM)
'Mique says she wants to be a champion!
DAVID (POMONA)
SPARKS ARE LOOKIN GOOD
Jordan Kendell (Pleasant View, UT)
Chamique has got some cool moves.
Dominique (Rock Island,IL)
C.Holdsclaw is a great player and can really help the sparks win a championship.
franciso (North Hollywood ,CA)
sparks will win the title
Jordan Kendell (Pleasant View, UT)
SPARKS are fun to watch with chamique and lisa together
Maggie (CT)
Mique has had her share of ups and downs, I think the Sparks will be a really great fit for her. I wish her the best.
The Pulse (2:48 PM)
Alright. On to Mark Buehrle. Send in those questions to the White Sox hurler -- NOW!!
Dan Chicago
Whens Mark Buehrle gonna be on?
The Pulse (2:52 PM)
Right now!
omar (freehold, nj)
could this be the year, both the north-siders and south-siders go to th eplayoffs?
Mario Estrada (Crete, IL)
Why are Chicagoans still filling p Wrigley Field and not U.S. Cellular Field?
Andrew (Lusk, WY)
Guess nobody told the White Sox that the Red Sox or Yankees are supposed to have the best record in the AL.
Scott (Tipp City, Ohio)
Ozzie made his first managing mistake Monday when he left Buehrle in to pitch the ninth even though they still won the game.
Frankie Busano Chicago,IL
Mark Buehrle, What do you think about the way Ozzie is managing the team?
The Pulse (2:54 PM)
Buehrle loves Ozzie!!
Bill (Jim Thorpe, PA)
Buehrle knows he's the ace.
Mario Estrada (Crete, IL)
I'm a cubs fan but i must say sometimes i find myself switching to the sox game and forgetting about the cubs.
Andy
The White Sox are the biggest surprise in baseball!
Calvin (Clearwater, FL)
I don't think the White Sox are a surprise. The Twins lost some good infield players in the offseason and is still basically a two man starting stuff. We all knew the White Sox had depth in the starting staff. I like to ask the host that said the White Sox are a major surprise why he thinks that because they are not a major surprise.
Jeremy (Phoenix, AZ)
For Mark Buehrle - What has been your role in helping Jon Garland become so successful? Why have the Sox been successful against the Twins so far this year where we've struggled in the past?
The Pulse (2:56 PM)
You're on Jeremy!
Andrew (Lusk, WY)
Somebody on the Sox will win the Cy Young. Garland? Buehrle? Take your pick.
nick st.louis
Mark Buehrle, where is your favorite place to pitch and why????
The Pulse (2:57 PM)
You're on, Nick!
Bill (Jim Thorpe, PA)
The White Sox have the best record? That is more surprising then the fourth place Yankees.
Scott (Tipp City, Ohio)
The Sox are a fun team to watch so far this season.
Dennis
Yeah, and people still care only about the Cubs.
Matt (Bismarck, ND)
Isn't U.S. Cellular in a sketchy area of Chicago while Wrigley is in a nice neighborhood?
Matt (Bismarck, ND)
The Twins will still win the division
Jordan (Pleasant View, UT)
The sox are winning the right way
Matt (NYC, NY)
I love watching the sox. I like there order a lot the offense is centered around podsednik getting a hit and konerko bring them in
The Pulse (3:00 PM)
Alright. We're moving on. Hey, what do you guys think about Larry Brown??
Matt (NYC,NY)
I think the focus of the Pistons should be on the playoffs. Larry is just taking the focus for himself. If he really wants to go manage the team why doesn't he come out about that
Bill (Jim Thorpe, PA)
Larry Brown... he's an awesome coach, but there shouldn't be any rumors spreading around that he will leave. It draws the concentration away from the team.
Kevin (Los Angelas )
Larry Brown needs to quit flip flopping, first he didn't talk with cleveland, then he did, then he didn't, he is getting on everyone's nerves, and he is taking the attentions away from his hard working team!
Dominique (Rock Island,IL)
Larry Brown gets too much credit for the pistons championship.
Alex (Reading, PA)
Larry Brown is a great motivator and one of the greatest basketball coaches ever and should be allowed to choose where he wants to be next year.
adam detroit
The pistons dont need to worry we will get flip saunders
Big Hayes (Washington D.C)
I think its totally unfair to the pistons organization for Larry Brown to even think about joining another team. I think all of this will affect the Pistons chance of getting back to the finals. GO HEAT!
Matt (NYC, NY)
I think Larry is being very inconsiderate. He should have their focus on beating the Heat not to manage James and the Cavs
Albert (San Antonio)
The pistons should just handle business like champs are suppose to.
Juan (San Antonio)
Larry is a great coach but keep in fact that he is struggling with health problems. He may leave the Pistons cause if you look at his history he only last about two or three years with a team.
Aj (Horseheads, NY)
Why are people sticking up for Brown? He did it to himself. Its his fault if the meida and press are getting on his back. He shouldnt blame anyone but himself.
Bill (Jim Thorpe, PA)
Larry should be on the Jerry Springer show with the Pistons and the Cavs
Aaron (San Antonio,TX)
Larry should take a page out of Sheeds book and let everyone know what's really going on.
The PULSE (3:07 PM)
I like the way you think, Aaron!
Michael (Dolton,IL)
LeBron James should still leave even if Larry Brown comes to the team. He needs to be in a big a city with a better market.
Bill (Jim Thorpe, PA)
Larry Brown saying he may leave is like T.O. saying stuff about Mcnabb... It doesn' help the team's chemistry
alex (erie)
larry is a great coach but if they lose to miami, the fans are going to blame it on him
larry brown the palace
I will be out of detorit after tonight
Aj (Horseheads, NY)
The famous quote, what can brown do for you should really be what brown CANT do for you. And what he cant do is make his team look good.
The PULSE (3:13 PM)
You are full of wit today, Aj.
Jordan (Pleasant View, UT)
Larry should not keep the piston organization in the dark but should have announced it earlier if it is going to happen
The PULSE (3:20 PM)
That's the least he could do, right? Geez. Pulse is a Larry fan, but he's been sooo shady.
Kevin (Los Angelas )
can we move on to something else?
The PULSE (3:22 PM)
Yes, we're on to soccer. David Beckham may be bending it in the U.S.A. sooner than later. Eric Wynalda is on the pitch. Send him your questions!
Albert (San Antonio)
I don't believe the mls will ever be big at all compared to the Premiere league.
Johnstone (Chicago)
MLS cant afford Beckham. He makes over $30M a year in Spain at the moment.
Scott (Tipp City, Ohio)
Beckham coming over here to play Soccer will do nothing for the popularity of the sport.
Rafael (Boston, MA)
Soccer may never have the same following in the United States as is does in Europe and other places in the world. I don't think Beckham could change that. Heck, Michael Jordan could come play soccer and no one may care.
Albert (San Antonio)
Soccer will never be as popular in the US like it is in other countries until we win the World Cup
The PULSE (3:28 PM)
Andsadly enough, even then I'm not sure that would do the trick.
Juan (Laredo Tx)
David is a great soccer player but it is better for him to go to Europe a place where he will get more fame and at least Europe can afford him
Albert (San Antonio)
America can only make the guy more wealthy
Dominique (Rock Island,IL)
David will not be popular in mls.
Johnstone (Chicago)
If Beckham does come it would be at the end of his career when he is more or less washed up. a la pele with the cosmos
Aaron (San Antonio,TX)
Manchester U. fans will have a fit over that move.
Alexander (Brooklyn)
I don't even think the MLS is even as popular as Beckham. He'll entertain America.
Rick (Riverdale, NY)
I think Soccer is gaining popularity. Just because it isn't popular now doesn't mean it never will be. Just look at the rise in popularity of Baseball in Japan.
Caitlin (Miami)
Would England blackball their star if Beck comes to the MLS? How do you think he's be received in the motherland?
The PULSE (3:32 PM)
You're on, Caitlin!
Aaron (San Antonio,TX)
I think the endorsment deals alone will be enough to entice Beckham to play in the MLS
Rafael (Boston, MA)
Well, his possible move to MLS has us talking so maybe some people may become interested. Right?
The PULSE (3:32 PM)
Well said, Raf.
The PULSE (3:32 PM)
Well said, Raf.
Johnstone (Chicago)
Wynalda had a free kick goal against the Swiss in World Cup 94 that was spectacular
The PULSE (3:34 PM)
That's our boy, Eric Wynalda! Good conversation on soccer today. Impressive. You guys cruising today, SportsNation. We're in the homestretch now. We've got Pat Garrity yet to come. He'll be talking NBA Labor Negotiations and we'll talk about the statements from those outspoken Kellen Winslows. Talk to me. Finish strong! Here we go!
adam detroit
next is pat?
The PULSE (3:36 PM)
Yep.
The PULSE (3:37 PM)
I want to know what you think about a possible lockout in the NBA, labor disputes, etc. Sound off!
The PULSE (3:43 PM)
Also, what do you think about all the Kellen Winslow hubub?
The PULSE (3:44 PM)
First, here's Page Garrity.
jason (binghamton)
has any one learned their lesson? basketball will suffer greatly with a lockout. please don't take the same rout the NHL has. The NHL may never recover from their greed
Albert (San Antonio)
The NBA has been so great since the lockout, another one would be to devistating.
Chuck (Rochester)
The difference between the NBA's situation and the NHL's is that people will care about the NBA enough to not let labor disputes take away the season
Saad Ghauri (Commack)
The NBA should learn from the NHL's mistake in locking out, please, not the NBA!
Chuck (Rochester)
NBA will never have a lockout like NHL
Rafael (Boston, MA)
The NBA is a growing organization. A lockout could hurt it's popularity which it worked so hard to get after the Jordan-era. It's reaching a new high with Dwayne Wade and Lebron James.
Johnstone (Chicago)
The difference is a matter of the length of contract. No money issues..... Agents are going to ruin sports sooner than later.
adam detroit
3.8 omg thats tons i make 6.48 and hour!
Raekwon (Newport Ri)
If they have a lockout they might as well just quit forever, i'm so tired of overpaid sports figures complaining that they don't make enough.
Jordan (Pleasant View UT)
I enjoy watching the NBA and it would be a tragedy if the NBA went in a lockout but i dont think it would by at all like the NHL
Aaron (San Antonio,TX)
The fans should strike to lower the cost of tickets, and then we'll see how much the owners care. Just a dream
The Pulse (3:50 PM)
Dream big! We're revolutionaries here at THE PULSE!
The Pulse (3:51 PM)
On to the Winslows!
Justin (Compton, CA)
Did the media let Kellen Winslow, Jr ride that motorcycle? no. Did the media told Winslow not to finish college? no. Did the media wreck Kellen Winslow Jr's life? no. So, keep your mouth shut about the media because it's not there fault, it's your son's fault and don't making them the scapegoat.
Jordan (Pleasant View UT)
i think winslow sr. shouldnt have sounded off because his son went against good judgement even after seeing what happened to jay williams
A.J. (Horseheads, NY)
Winslow Sr. just needs to chill out!
Kyle (Southlake)
It's funny how the media and their million dollar(s) signing bonuses are to blame for some idiotic, ego hungry, "soldier's " decision. Have the Winslow's been hangin' with Mr. Bonds this offseason?
Rafael (Boston, MA)
I can understand Winslow Sr. perspective. The media does treat players like property. But I also believe that he should have conducted himself a little better. Now the media is going to run with his comments and this is going to be drawn out.
Scott (Tipp City, Ohio)
K.Winslow Sr. said his son is not a piece of property, last time I checked he was property of the Cleveland Browns.
alex (erie,pa)
both of them should be quiet and think before they do or say anything
Johnstone (Chicago)
Which was a dumber decision, riding the bike or the heisman pose he struck after the td against La-tech when he was at the U
Bill (Jim Thorpe, PA)
Kellen Winslow= the highest paid tight end in the league. He cries for more money. Then he goes and gets injured for doing a dumb thing... he doesn't deserve all the attention. He is overrated
alex (erie,pa)
kellen winslow is a young man that needs to grow up and think
The Pulse (3:56 PM)
