Welcome to The Show! On Friday, Chair of the DeVos Sport Business Management Program at the University of Central Florida and President and CEO of the National Consortium for Academics and Sport, Dr. Richard Lapchick, will stop by to talk about the 2004 Racial and Gender Report Card.

The Racial and Gender Report Card is a comprehensive research document that analyzes the hiring practices of women and people of color in the NBA, NFL, Major League Baseball, NHL, Major League Soccer, WNBA, the NCAA and its member institutions.

Lapchick is the author of 10 books and also directs UCF's Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport. He has joined ESPN.com as a regular commentator on issues of diversity in sport and recently penned an article for Page 2 on the report's findings as it relates to college athletics. Considered among the nation's experts on sports issues, Lapchick has appeared numerous times on Nightline, Good Morning America, Face The Nation, The Today Show, ABC World News, NBC Nightly News, the CBS Evening News, CNN and ESPN.
