A veteran of 16 years with the National Football League, Garber took over Major League Soccer in 1999, guiding the league to new heights of popularity and quality of play. As evidenced by the L.A. Galaxy's recent performance against Real Madrid, MLS teams deserve to be on the same pitch with the best squads in the world.
