Chat with the 2005 WNBA MVP
After enjoying of the finest seasons i her WNBA career, original WNBA player and Houston Comets forward Sheryl Swoopes was named the 2005 WNBA MVP.
The 2005 WNBA M.V.P. trophy will be presented on today during Game 3 of the Finals in Sacramento.
Not only did the Swoopes help lead her team to the Playoffs in 2005 and an upset of the defending champion Seattle Storm in the first round, she also led the league in scoring and was the 2005 WNBA All-Star MVP.
This is Swoopes third time winning the award.
