Chat: NFL Players Block!

Welcome to The Show! On Tuesday, to help look back on the first half of the NFL season and preview the second half, several players will be stopping by to chat about their team, division and much more.

Noon ET - Falcons LB Edgerton Hartwell
Hartwell
Hartwell
Falcons middle linebacker Edgerton Hartwell signed as a free agent in the offseason and started every game for the Falcons before suffering a season-ending Achilles tendon injury in a Week 5 loss to the Patriots. He had 27 tackles and a pass deflection in the first four weeks of the season. While he hasn't been able to contribute on the field, he continues to help students pursue academics and professionalism via his Big Hart Foundation. Vasher
Bears cornerback Nathan Vasher had five solo tackles, a forced fumble and his third interception of the year in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Saints to move the Bears into sole possession of first place in the NFC North. Vasher was a fourth-round draft pick out of Texas last year and made an immediate impact with five interceptions. Vasher's play this season has helped the Bears to the league's third best defense, giving up just 12.3 points per game.

1:30 p.m. ET - Browns WR Dennis Northcutt
Northcutt
Northcutt
Browns wide receiver Dennis Northcutt, who recently expressed his frustration about not be given an opportunity to contribute, connected with Trent Dilfer on a 58-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter on Sunday, propelling the Browns to a 20-14 win over the Titans. He also ran for 31 yards on a reverse and had two punt returns called back on penalties. After going 4-12 last season, the Browns are already at 3-5 in a tough AFC North.

2:15 p.m. ET - Chargers CB Quentin Jammer
 Jammer
Jammer
Chargers cornerback Quentin Jammer had five tackles in Sunday's 31-26 win over the Jets, moving San Diego to 5-4 and third place in the intensely competitive AFC West. Jammer has been one of the most outspoken defensive backs in relation to the league's crackdown on pass interference calls and how it has hampered the ability of a defense to properly stop an offense from scoring. This Thanksgiving, Jammer will be hosting a dinner on Tuesday, Nov 22 in San Diego for the Boys and Girls club. For more, check out www.quentinjammer.com!

3 p.m. ET - Jaguars LB Akin Ayodele
 Ayodele
Ayodele
Jaguars LB Akin Ayodele is in his fourth year with the Jaguars after being drafted by the organization in the third round of the 2002 draft. His flexibility, playing both weak side and strong side linebacker, has played a major role in the Jaguars defense. Despite being down by seven in the fourth quarter on Sunday against the Texans, the Jaguars rallied to win 21-14. Akin recently started a Reading and Rec Club designed to encourage youth 6-12 to build their bodies and their minds. For more, check out www.akinayodele.net!
