David Ortiz sets DH hits record

With his second-inning double Wednesday night against the Seattle Mariners, David Ortiz became the all-time hits leader among MLB designated hitters, passing Harold Baines for the top spot. The Boston Red Sox's "Big Papi" did it with strong production over a decade-plus run -- and was helped by the fact that his position even exists, at least in the American League.
