Calvin Johnson set the single-season receiving yards record in 2012, while also leading the league in receptions, yards per game and first downs. But he's far from the only elite receiver out there. Ten players had 1,350 receiving yards or more. Nine wideouts hauled in double-digit touchdowns. How do they stack up against each other as the 2013 season nears? Calvin Johnson set the single-season receiving yards record in 2012, while also leading the league in receptions, yards per game and first downs. Wes Welker was tops for most yards after the catch, whereas Vincent Jackson took the crown in average yards per catch. ESPN NFL analyst and Pro Football Hall of Famer Cris Carter named Johnson as the league's best wide receiver, but do you agree? Click the images below to set your rankings!

Percy Harvin to undergo hip surgery

The Seattle Seahawks' high hopes took a bit of a hit Tuesday, when new acquisition Percy Harvin announced on Twitter that he would undergo hip surgery. The dynamic receiver/return man's timetable is unknown, but he likely will miss at least a few weeks of the 2013 season. Still, Seattle went 11-5 a year ago and nearly reached the NFC Championship Game, thanks to surprising rookie quarterback Russell Wilson, prolific running back Marshawn Lynch and the league's stingiest defense.

How much would losing Percy Harvin until midseason hurt the Seahawks' playoff chances?

Percy Harvin is usually good for a lot of production at wide receiver, but an ankle injury ended his 2012 season early. He still believes he's a top-level receiver, however, and is looking for a contract to match. Harvin is prepared to stay away from training camp and offseason workouts, but the Vikings don't seem to be budging on their initial refusal to give him a new deal. Shopping a high-profile receiver like Harvin could net the Vikings a lot of talent in return, but will he really end up leaving Minnesota?

Elite talent?

When healthy, Harvin is a top-flight receiver, but does he really deserve to be paid on the level of Calvin Johnson or Larry Fitzgerald?

Percy Harvin has made it clear that he's unhappy with the Vikings, but they're refusing to trade him just yet. Should they cut ties?
