Vote: Pacers-Pistons Brawl

Jose Guillen Bedlam reigned in Detroit, as fans tried to stage a Palace coup.

A hard foul by Ron Artest led to a two-hand shove to the neck by Ben Wallace and the kind of scrum that isn't altogether uncommon at games between NBA rivals. But things turned ugly in Detroit when a fan chucked an apparently full drink, and possibly other items, at Artest. The Pacers forward leapt into the stands and was followed by teammates and Pistons players. The ensuing melee spilled throughout the arena, as Pacers players and coaches were pelted with objects while leaving the court.

The game was called with under a minute left and the Pacers comfortably ahead, but who is most to blame for the mess? And was it the ugliest incident on record?
