The NFL's quarterbacks of the future discovered on Sunday that the present can still be unpleasant.

Michael Vick couldn't get loose against Philadelphia's containment in the NFC championship game, and Ben Roethlisberger looked plenty tight against New England's veteran defense in the AFC championship game.
