If you're going to ask someone to follow in Diana Taurasi's footsteps, it might as well be someone with some big sneakers on her feet.

The 2005 WNBA draft didn't have a marquee name like Taurasi (or even Alana Beard), but top pick Janel McCarville headlined a deep class. Selected first by the Charlotte Sting, McCarville will try to help revive a team with needs across the board.
