Vote: Detroit Pistons vs. Philadelphia 76ers

The ultimate goal for each of the 16 teams in the NBA postseason is 16 wins a parade with a very shiny trophy. But the journey begins with a best-of-seven challenge in the first round. Will any of the favorites fall victim to overconfidence in the postseason's opening stanza? For that matter, do the seedings really tell us who the favorites are? We're asking SportsNation to break down each opening-round series.

No. 2 Detroit vs. No. 7 Philadelphia: You just knew Allen Iverson and Larry Brown would cross paths again someday. After getting back to the playoffs for the first time in two years, the 76ers will have to go through their former coach and his defending NBA champion Pistons in the first round. Are the Sixers up to the task? Or will the Pistons ride their 11-of-12 win streak on to the second round?
