Vote: Do you feel safe?

The fans involved in this April scuffle with Gary Sheffield were not charged with a crime.
A visit to a major league ballpark should consist of a hot dog, a beverage, a hard-fought game and a leisurely seventh-inning stretch. However, sometimes taking in a game means a slew of four-letter words, the throwing of beer and maybe even a few fisticuffs.

What is going on? Is this a few isolated incidents played up by the media? Or is baseball heading down a dark path that will leave players and fans alike scared about what might happen next?

Cast your vote on how you feel about ballpark security and see how your opinion stacks up to the rest of SportsNation.
