Vote: Baseball, Softball Strike Out at Olympics

 Finch
Jennie Finch wannabees will have to settle for a CWS championship.
So much for those dreams of hitting a bottom-of-the-ninth, two outs, bases loaded grand slam to win a gold medal for your country.

Just 13 years after baseball was introduced as a Summer Olympic sport, and eight years after softball was added, both sports have been cut from the 2012 Games. They will, however, be eligible to win their way back into the Olympics for 2016.

With two open spots, the IOC voted to see if golf, rugby, squash, karate or roller sports should be added. Squash and karate were nominated for inclusion but did not garner enough votes to make the cut.

Which sport would have been axed if you were calling the shots? Should golf be added as a sport? Rugby? Cast your vote!
