Protest in the Sports Arena: Your View
Toni Smith, a senior guard-forward at Manhattanville College, has become a household name -- not because of what she does during the game, but because of what she does before the game. When the national anthem is played, Smith turns away from the U.S. flag, in silent protest of U.S. foreign policy.
