Vote: Has parity arrived in the NHL?

While revisionist history will never erase the fact that Calgary and Tampa Bay played for the last Stanley Cup awarded before the introduction of a salary cap in the NHL, it appears parity has arrived in pro hockey.

With the ink drying on a new labor deal and Sidney Crosby trying on jerseys in Pittsburgh, teams are finally free to start filling their rosters. And fill they have. Big names, like Peter Forsberg, are on the move across the hockey landscape, with many moving to or signing lucrative new deals with formerly small-market teams.

So who is worth the most in this new world? Which team is the early favorite to win? And is this good for hockey? Vote, SportsNation!
