Vote: Which general managers spent wisely?

Buyer's remorse is a sentiment known well by baseball general managers, and these guys never get the chance to return anything for store credit. As baseball's playoff races come down to the wire, some teams are reaping the benefits of money well spent, while others are wondering why they let their guy loose with a checkbook in the first place.

Slowed recently, Dustin Hermanson (right) was the ace at the back of Chicago's bullpen for much of the season, and he did it for considerably less than Troy Percival earned from the Tigers or Armando Benitez earned from the Giants. On the other hand, fans in Arizona may be wondering where their team would be in the NL West standings if the club had spent $33 million on a pitcher other than Russ Ortiz.

So with a year to evaluate last winter's purchases, who got it right? And how does the market look for this offseason?
