Days after an interview in which he agreed with ESPN analyst Michael Irvin's contention that the Eagles would have a better record if Brett Favre were playing quarterback instead of an injured Donovan McNabb, and after he criticized the Eagles for not recognizing his 100th career touchdown in last week's game, Terrell Owens was suspended indefinitely on Saturday for conduct detrimental to the team and later deactivated for the rest of the season.
