Vote: Sheraton Hawaii Bowl

Like the sweet smell of pine trees, the good cheer of friends and family and the horrendous parking at the shopping mall, college football bowl games are a staple of the holiday season. And while the four BCS games control the championshp picture, the other bowls often offer up the season's most memorable moments and fantastic finishes.

When: Dec. 24, 8:30 p.m. ET (ESPN)

The Game: In its third year, the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl brings non-all-star postseason football back to Hawaii. The game will be played at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii and pits representatives from the WAC and Conference USA.

The Teams: Nevada (8-3, 7-1) finished in a tie for first place in the WAC. Central Florida (8-4, 7-2) finished second in Conference USA, losing the conference title game to Tulsa.
