Vote: Champs Sports Bowl


Like the sweet smell of pine trees, the good cheer of friends and family and the horrendous parking at the shopping mall, college football bowl games are a staple of the holiday season. And while the four BCS games control the championshp picture, the other bowls often offer up the season's most memorable moments and fantastic finishes.

When: Dec. 27, 5 p.m. ET (ESPN)

The Game: In its 16th year, the Champs Sports Bowl will be played at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium in Orlando, Fla. It began life as the Blockbuster Bowl in Miami before moving to Orlando as the Tangerine Bowl in 2001. This year it welcomes representatives from the ACC and Big 12.

The Teams: Clemson (7-4, 4-4) finished in a tie for sixth in the ACC. Colorado (7-5, 5-4) won the Big 12 North and lost to Texas in the conference title game.
