Vote: Insight Bowl


Like the sweet smell of pine trees, the good cheer of friends and family and the horrendous parking at the shopping mall, college football bowl games are a staple of the holiday season. And while the four BCS games control the championshp picture, the other bowls often offer up the season's most memorable moments and fantastic finishes.

When: Dec. 27, 8:30 p.m. ET (ESPN)

The Game: Played at Bank One Ballpark in Phoenix, Ariz., the Insight Bowl began as the Copper Bowl in 1989 and was originally hosted in Tucson, Ariz. It now welcomes representatives from the Pac-10 and Big East conferences (or Notre Dame).

The Teams: Rutgers (7-4, 4-3) finished in a tie for third place in the Big East. Arizona State (6-5, 4-4) finished in a tie for fourth place in the Pac-10.
