Vote: Meineke Car Care Bowl


Like the sweet smell of pine trees, the good cheer of friends and family and the horrendous parking at the shopping mall, college football bowl games are a staple of the holiday season. And while the four BCS games control the championshp picture, the other bowls often offer up the season's most memorable moments and fantastic finishes.

When: Dec. 31, 11 a.m. ET (ESPN2)

The Game: In it's fourth year, the Meineke Car Care Bowl will be played at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. and will again welcome teams from the ACC and Big East. It is also one of just three bowls to start before noon ET.

The Teams: N.C. State (6-5, 3-5) finished tied for fourth in the ACC Atlantic and shared the eighth-best record in the conference. South Florida (6-5, 4-3) finished in a tie for third place in the Big East.
