Vote: Will Roger Clemens return in 2006?

 Roger Clemens
Have we seen the last of Clemens?
It seems out of place with the sometimes-mystical nature of baseball history that arguably the greatest pitcher of all time could see his career come to a close in a cloud of contractual caveats.

By failing to offer Roger Clemens arbitration before midnight on Wednesday, the Astros have seemingly made it far less likely that Clemens will return to pitch in 2006. The ace, who posted a 1.87 ERA and contended for the Cy Young in 2005, now cannot sign a deal with his hometown team until after May 1.

So is this the end of the line for Clemens? Is this the right move for the Astros? And where does the Texas fireballer rank in the game's history of hurlers?
