Vote: How should Team USA be selected?


	If LeBron James plays for Team USA, it will be minus the entourage.

USA Basketball Men's Senior National Team program Managing Director Jerry Colangelo has a tough task worthy of his Herculean job title. Not only is he asking superstar NBA players to spend their summer battling against top-notch international talent, but he's also asking for a three-year commitment to help the United States rebound from embarassing finishes at the Athens Olympics and the 2002 World Championships.

Colangelo claims he is ''5-for-5'' with the players he has spoken to. But the big guns of LeBron James, Shaquille O'Neal, Tracy McGrady and Tim Duncan appear to be on the outside not looking in.

How important is it for LeBron James to say yes to Team USA? How will Coach K, an accomplished leader of young men at Duke, handle NBA egos with an underdog mentality in a foreign country? And why do international teams just keep getting better?
