Vote: Does Kobe have an image problem?

 Kobe Bryant
What do you think of Kobe Bryant?
After Sunday night's remarkable performance against the Raptors, we know Kobe Bryant can put a lot of points on the board. But can Bryant ever score enough to permanently defeat his enigmatic past?

We all know the story. Bryant entered the NBA with a winning smile, an amazing vertical and staggering expectations. And after an initial hiccup when he engineered his way out of Charlotte and into the spotlight in Los Angeles, it appeared Bryant would seize on that potential to become a media darling and basketball legend. The points flowed freely, and so did the championships when Shaquille O'Neal arrived to form one of the best one-two punches in NBA history.

But to some, it seemed that Bryant was a little too slick and a little too polished in all those interviews and commercials, even for Hollywood. And when Bryant admitted to cheating on his wife while denying allegations of sexual assault at a Colorado resort, those frayed strands unraveled his empire. Companies fled and public adulation turned to scorn.

But after a string of positive stories, from joining the Olympic team to scoring 81 points in a game, how is his comeback going? Has he turned over a new leaf? Is he doing what's best for the team, or what's best for himself? Vote, SportsNation!
