Vote: Will Ichiro make it to Cooperstown?

 Ichiro
How many more hits are in Ichiro's bat?
Ichiro Suzuki exploded on the scene in 2001, escaping the protective shroud that usually envelops the Pacific Northwest as few things outside of Microsoft, Starbucks and grunge rock had before.

After reaching superstar status in eight season with Onix in Japan's top baseball league, Ichiro quickly made a name for himself as a "rookie" in the United States by hitting .350 and stealing 56 bases for the Seattle Mariners. His unorthodox swing and aggressive style won over fans and fantasy owners alike, as the Mariners thrived without departed stars Alex Rodriguez, Ken Griffey Jr. and Randy Johnson.

But the Mariners have recently fallen on hard times, slumping to 132 total wins in the last two seasons . And for the first time since arriving from Japan, Ichiro looked nearly mortal in 2006, hitting .303. At 32, is he finally starting the downhill run of his career, or will he bounce back in 2006? And will Ichiro eventually hit his way to Cooperstown?
