Vote: Team USA eliminated from WBC

If this were the Olympics, Team USA would be going home without a medal.
The United States will not advance to play for a World Baseball Classic championship.

At least we still have mom and apple pie.

Things started well enough for the Americans, blanking projected pool rival Mexico in their WBC opener behind home runs from Derrek Lee and Chipper Jones. But a stunning 8-6 loss to Canada in the second game of pool play proved to be a sign of things to come. Team USA was beatable.

On Thursday, even with Roger Clemens on the mound, the Americans were outplayed by Mexico and lost 2-1 resulting in their elimination.
