Vote: Will the Heat or Pistons advance?


Despite the best efforts of LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Detroit Pistons and Miami Heat are set to meet in the conference finals pairing that most expected. But will the outcome be different than last year, when the Pistons dispatched the injury-plagued Heat in six games?

The Heat enter this series in much better health than last season, most notably for star guard Dwyane Wade. But they also head to Detroit for Game 1 with a new cast of supporting players, led by Antoine Walker and Jason Williams.

As for the Pistons, a seven-game series against the Cavs may have either exposed the team's flaws or awakened a sleeping giant. But is Flip Saunders the right man to keep the team focused and ready?
