Vote: Who will win the 2006 French Open?

 Roger Federer
Will Roger Federer win his first French Open, and fourth straight Grand Slam?
It's not too often that the unquestioned top player in the world isn't the favorite to win a tournament he is entered in. But that's the case at Roland Garros in this year.

Roger Federer has held the No. 1 world ranking for nearly two years straight, but it's his chief nemesis - Rafael Nadal - that is the No. 1 seed. Nadal has been the picture of clay-court dominance, with 53 consecutive match wins and counting.

Meanwhile, on the women's side, Amelie Mauresmo is coming off of her first Grand Slam title, but has yet to advance past the quarters at Roland Garros. There are many threats to deal with, including a couple with double-digit seeds: Venus Williams and Martina Hingis. Who will emerge from the women's draw is anyone's guess.

We want to hear your best guesses, SportsNation. Which players will take home the title? How does Federer compare to Pete Sampras? And will Serena Williams, who is out of the French with a bum knee, ever win another Grand Slam title?

Give us your answers below, then compare them to the rest of SportsNation.
