Vote: Will Giambi's comments derail Yanks?

The New York Yankees should be talking about pursuing a World Series title. After all, they just clinched their ninth consecutive AL East title. But Jason Giambi, Alex Rodriguez and even Joe Torre seem to have other things on their mind.

In a recent Sports Illustrated story, Jason Giambi calls out Rodriguez for his poor play and Torre for coddling the superstar. Rodriguez fired back about other players on the team getting a pass from the media and Torre divulged the contents of a meeting he had with Rodriguez in late August.

Are the Yankees coddling Rodriguez? Was it Giambi's place to question his teammate publicly? Why, with the Yankees sporting the best record in the American League and Rodriguez batting .345 in the month of September, are we even talking about this?
