Vote: Fill out your MLB awards ballot

 Pujols and Howard
Will Albert Pujols or Ryan Howard get your NL MVP vote?
They have been a source of debate almost from the start. When Frank Schulte of the Chicago Cubs hit .300 with 21 home runs in 1911 to beat out Christy Mathewson (29 points to 25 points) for MVP, at least a few fans in New York surely felt aggrieved.

Baseball's awards seem to matter more than awards in other sports, perhaps in part because we've been arguing about them for so long. Well, welcome to another autumn of debate.

The regular season has come a close, and that means it's time to hand out some hardware. The official vote is in the hands of baseball writers, but we want SportsNation's take on the record. Who is the rightful MVP in the American League? Does Justin Verlander's season-long consistency top Francisco Liriano's injury-shortened brilliance for Rookie of the Year? Vote on all of the major awards.
