Settle in, because it's going to be a long wait to see if your NHL predictions come true. At least you'll have some exciting hockey to keep you company.

The NHL returned last season, and if it wasn't better than ever, most agreed it was at least better than before the work stoppage. Scoring increased dramatically and the new salary cap stirred championship dreams for fans in just about every market. But with a year of the "new" league in the books, which teams will take the next step?

Hockey's regular season is one of the longer marathons in pro sports, but that's not stopping us from asking SportsNation to dust off their crystal balls and gaze toward next summer. Who will win the major awards? Which teams will square off for the Stanley Cup? And which team will win it all? Vote on the new season!
