Is Brendan Shanahan right?
The New York Rangers woke up on Thursday two points out of a tie for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, but Brendan Shanahan thinks his team faces a more difficult challenge than other contenders.

After Wednesday's 2-1 loss to fellow playoff hopeful Toronto, Shanahan blasted NHL officials for what he deemed unfair treatment of Rangers star Jaormir Jagr. A veteran who has played with his share of stars, Shanahan said officials let opponents get away with all sorts of illegal physical contact with his team's captain.
